Mild Steel is the most commonly used construction materials for pipelines in
the oil and gas industry. They are, however, very susceptible to corrosion in
environment containing CO2. Bicarbonate ( HCO3-) result of decomposition
from carbonate acid can benefit because will add system pH so that CO2
become less dangerous. Imidazoline is fundamental component from corrosion
inhibitor having ability which good to protecting in acid media at gas and oil
well and also pipeline from CO2 corrosion.

2.3.3 Temperatur

semakin bertambah [27].
Kehadiran lapisan inhibitor senyawa organik rantai panjang berfungsi

semakin meningkat. Pada konsentrasi 0,002 mol HCO3-, nilai LSI negatif artinya
bersifat korosif sedangkan konsentrasi 0,1 mol dan 0,5 mol HCO3-, nilai LSI
positif artinya bersifat membentuk endapan (scaling). Tetapi semakin meningkat
konsentrasi HCO3- maka RSI semakin menurun.
besar konsentrasi bikarbonat maka semakin naik nilai TDS-nya.
