ABSTRACT
Students that cannot find the concept with their own ability in daily life are
one of the reasons to develop LKS. Effective lesson materials that cannot yet
facilitate students in learn. Purpose of this research is developing lesson
materials such as valid and practical LKS on ratio material in SMPN 1 Sutera.
Development model in this research is by using development model of
Instructional Development Institute (IDI) that consists of 3 steps, they are: define
step, develop step, and evaluate step. Validation was done by 1 mathematics
lecturer, 1 mathematics teacher and 1 Indonesian teacher SMPN 1 Sutera.
Validity test was done by poll and practicality test was done by poll and interview.
Analysis data with percentage technique and done descriptively. Result of validity
test LKS basis constructivism by validator shows that LKS basis constructivism
for very valid criteria has average is 83,72%, meanwhile practicality test by
students shows that LKS basis problem in very practical category is 90,89%.
