REPORT OF PBL 1, APRIL 2019
ABSTRACT
Introduction : Environment is the most dominant factor that can affect public
health. Indicators used to determine the health status of the community include clean
water, human waste disposal, and residential areas. According to the World Health
Organization each year around 2.2 million children - children die from diseases caused
by lack of safe drinking water and poor sanitation hygiene. The purpose of this survey
is to provide experience for students regarding public health problems that have been
obtained from the Ciberung Village community by carrying out problem-solving
efforts in accordance with the scientific and practical approaches.
Method : The design of the Basic Community Health Survey uses a cross
sectional method with observation and interview data collection techniques. The total
sample is 707 households (85.26%) and 820 individual samples, using total sampling
techniques. The method used in the priority analysis of problems is the USG method.
Then for the framework of the root causes of the problem using the fish bone method.
Whereas for alternative problem solving using the method how-how diagram. The data
collection instruments used were questionnaire sheets and health measuring
instruments. The measuring instruments used are stature meters, scales, manual and
digital tension meters, metlines and LILA bands. Analysis of the data used in this
survey is univariate analysis on each research result variable.
Results : Based on the results of the USG obtained from the Ciberung Village
Community Consultation activities in 2019 this shows that the problems regarding
families that do not have a Waste Water Disposal Facility are a priority health problem
in Ciberung Village. The root cause of families who do not have a Waste Water
Disposal Facility is the lack of knowledge and experience of the community regarding
the making of SPAL, limited funds and land for making a Waste Water Disposal
Facility. The alternative solution to the problem is the making of posters, "Buah Sabar"
guidebooks (Simple and Useful Wastewater Disposal) to advocate for the action of
making "Buah Sabar" and counseling about the description, purpose and benefits of
the "Buah Sabar" program.
Conclusion : Problems that are the top priority in Ciberung Village, Selajambe
District, Kuningan Regency in 2019 are families that do not have a Waste Water
Disposal Facility.
