• “Health promotion is the process of enabling
people to control over and improve their health.
• To Reach a state of complete physical, mental, and
social well-being, an individual or group must be
able to identify and realize aspiration, to satisfy
needs, and to change or cope with the
environment.”

Pelaksanaan Promosi Kesehatan di Daerah

• Promosi kesehatan adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan


kemampuan masyarakat melalui pembelajaran dan, oleh,
untuk, dan bersama masyarakat, agar mereka dapat
menolong diri sendiri, serta mengembangkan kegiatan
yang bersumber daya masyarakat, sesuai dengan kondisi
sosial budaya setempat dan didukung kebijakan publik
yang berwawasan kesehatan (Kemenkes RI, 2007).
