Abstract: The organization is part of a project management, which will enable an organization to achieve its goals.
This process will be reflected in the organizational structure which includes important aspects of the organization and
the organizing process, namely the division of labor, departmentalization, formal organizational chart, chain of
command and unity of command, levels of management hierarchy, communication channels, use of committees, and
spans of management and organization. unavoidable informal groups. A project organization can be a pure project
organization. The pure project organization is separated from the parent organization and becomes a separate
organization with separate technical staff, separate administration and ties to the parent organization in the form of
periodic progress reports on the project. However, to overcome the weaknesses of pure project organization, matrix
organization can be used. Matrix organization is a combination of functional organization and pure project
organization to avoid the shortcomings that exist and is a middle ground of the two.
