Dalam materi ini, adik-adik akan belajar tentang Greeting ( Salam/Sapaan)


dan cara merespon ( Responses ). Terapat dua teks, yakni penjelasan dalam
Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia. Ini agar, siswa/I lebih familiar dengan
Bahasa Inggris. Selamat Belajar!

A. Tujuan Pembelajaran / The Goal Of Learning


Greeting, introdUCing yoUR self and other person, leave taking can be
UNderstood and applied in daily life. To help yoU learning English easier, we will devide the
lesson in to few parts.

Greeting, Introducing your self and other person, leave taking dapat di
pahami dan dapat di praktekkan dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Guna memudahkan
belajar, kita pecah pelajarannya menjadi beberapa bagian.
B. Brief of Material / Pengertian Singkat Materi Pembelajaran
In oUR daily life, we can convey greeting. We want to start conversation politely.
Greeting can be USed to start conversation with friend, partner. After greeting, we can strat
to do conversation with oUR friend or oUR partner. So, greeting is very USefUL in oUR daily
intercation in english.

Pada kehidupan sehari hari, kita bisa menympaikan greeting, saat kita
ingin menyapa seseorang dengan santun. Greeting bisa di gunakan untuk
memulai percakapan dengan rekan. Setelah greeting kita bisa melakukan
percakapan yang sebenarnya. Jadi greeting sangat bermanfaat dalam
interaksi sehari hari dengan menggunakan Bahasa Inggris.

Stella : I’m fine thanks. How is Hendra? (Aku baik baik saja. Bagaimana dengan Hendra?)

Explanation

Silahkan perhatikan Contoh dialog diatas. Dialog dilakukan oleh dua pembicara,
yakni Stella dan Gina. Pembicara pertama, Stella, memulai dengan menggunakan
salah satu contoh dari penggunaan Greeting, dan menyapa teman nya, Gina. Gina
sebagai pembicara kedua, kemudian menjawab dan merespon Salam/ Greeting
Stella, dengan menggunakan ungkapan Responses dengan tepat.

Leave Taking and Responses

We have learned about how to greet someone. Then, we are going to discuss how to leave the
conversation in English.
Leave Taking is used when we will end the conversation. We usually say : Good Bye, See You
Later or See you next time. In this part, we may learn little bit detail about how to end the
conversation with people around us.

Jika sebelumnya kita sudah belajar tentang bagaimana cara menyapa seseorang atau how to greet
someone. Maka sekarang kita akan belajar tentang bagaimana cara berpamitan atau berpisah dengan
seseorang dalam Bahasa Inggris.
Ucapan berpamitan dalam bahasa Inggris disebut juga dengan Leave Taking. Biasanya jika kita akan
berpisah dengan seseorang maka kita akan mengucapkan good bye, see you later, ataupun see you next time.
Nah, dengan mempelajari leave taking ini akan membantu kita untuk dapat berpamitan dengan baik dan benar
dengan orang-orang di sekitar kita.

My Personal Identity
Hello, my new schoolmates. Let me introduce to all of you. By writing this letter, I
hope you will know me well.
My full name is Muhammad Ikhsan Surgawi. But, many of my friends call me
Ikhsan. I was born at Maluku on February 14, 2003. Now, I am seventeen years old. I
live in Ahmad Yani Street Number 56 Rajabasa baru – Mataram baru, East lampung.
My father’s name is Muhammad Mubarokah. He is 52 years old. My mother’s
name is Siti Muntamah. She is now 47 years old. I have a sister and a brother, Aulia
Najwa Kanaya and Muhammad Hisyam Nawawi. My father is a farmer and my mother is
a house-wife.
Then, I continue my study at YPI 2 Islamic Vocational High School of Way Jepara.
I am at X Accounting. Here, I meet many new friends. I hope I could finish my education
and improve my capacity in this institution.

Pengertian Ciri Tanda Waktu / Time Signal


Simple past tense digunakan untuk Yesterday, 2 minutes ago, in 1996, last

Lembah Pelangi Waterfall

Lembah Pelangi Waterfall sounds unfamiliar for either local or foreign tourists. Lembah Pelangi
Waterfall is located in Sukamaju village, Ulubelu sub district, Tanggamus district, Lampung province,
Indonesia. The access to this place is quite difficult because Ulu Belu sub district is a remote area in
Lampung with its hilly contours which make this tourist spot elusive.
Lembah Pelangi Waterfall has two levels where the waterfall on the second level has two
branches. The height of the first level waterfall is about 100 meters, while the second level waterfall is
about dozens of meters. The best enchantment of this waterfall is the rainbow which appears between
the valley and the waterfall as the name suggests. The soft flowing gurgling waterfall sounds is like a
chant of nature which can remove the tiredness of the long trip to go there. Under the waterfall, there
are several spots of warm water which can be an interesting spot for bathing.

A Beautiful Day at Jogja


Last week, my friends and I went to Jogja. We visited many places.
First, we visited Parangtritis beach. The sun shone brightly and the scenery was very
beautiful there. We felt the wind blew across to us. We also saw a lot of people in that
beach. There werw many birds flew in the sky. Also, there were many sellers who sold
many kinds of souvenirs. Second, we visited Gembira Loka Zoo. We saw many kinds of
animals there such as monkeys, tigers, crocodiles, snakes, etc. We looked around in that
Zoo, and also took pictures of those animals. Then, we felt hungry, so we went to a
restaurant. As soon as we finished our lunc, we decided to go home.
For me, that was a beautiful day though I could not visit Malioboro. we really enjoyed
it, and I hope I could visit Jogja again.
