Prosedur Alat yang dibutuhkan : Oksimeter

Prosedur yang dilakukan :

1. Petugas memberi penjelasan kepada pasien terkait pemeriksaan
yang akan dilakukan
2. Petugas mencuci tangan sebelum melakukan pemeriksaan
3. Posisikan pasien berbaring atau setengah duduk
4. Petugas menghitung frekuensi pernapasan dalam 30 detik lalu
dikalikan 2 (jika pernapasan tidak teratur hitung frekuensi napas
dalam 1 menit penuh)
5. Petugas mengamati irama pernapasan (teratur atau tidak)
6. Petugas mengamati kedalaman pernapasan (diikuti otot bantu
pernapasan atau tidak)
7. Petugas melakukan pemeriksaan kadar oksigen darah dengan alat
oksimeter
8. Letakkan alat oksimeter pada jari tangan pasien dalam kondisi
rileks
9. Posisikan tangan lebih rendah dari jantung, tunggu beberapa detik
sampai alat oksimeter menampilkan angka saturasi oksigen dalam
darah
10. Petugas mencatat frekuensi, volume, dan irama pernapasan serta
 saturasi oksigen dalam kartu status pasien
11. Petugas mencuci tangan setelah melakukan pemeriksaan

Procedure :
1. The healthcare staff informs the patient about the examination

2. The healthcare staff washes his hands before the examination
3. Position the patient lying down or semi-sitting
4. The healthcare staff counts the respiratory rate in 30 seconds then
multiplied by 2 (if breathing is irregular count the respiratory rate
in 1 full minute)
5. The healthcare staff observe the rhythm of breathing (regular or not)
6. The healthcare staff observes the depth of breathing (followed by
respiratory accessory muscles or not)
7. The healthcare staff check blood oxygen levels with an oximeter
8. Place the oximeter on the patient's finger in a relaxed state
9. Position the hand lower than the heart, wait a few seconds until the
oximeter displays the oxygen saturation number
10. The healthcare staff records the frequency, volume, rhythm of
breathin, and oxygen saturation in the patient's status card
11. The healthcare staff wash their hands after examination
