Puji syukur kami panjatkan atas hadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa yang telah
melimpahkan nikmat, taufik, serta hidayah-Nya, sehingga saya dapat menyelesaikan makalah
tepat pada waktu.

Terima kasih juga kami ucapkan kepada guru pembimbing yang selalu memberikan
dukungan dan bimbingannya. Makalah ini saya buat dengan tujuan untuk memenuhi nilai
mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris. Tak hanya itu, saya juga berharap makalah ini bisa bermanfaat
untuk khususnya penulis dan umumnya pada pembaca. Walaupun demikian, saya menyadari
dalam penyusunan makalah ini masih banyak kekurangan. Maka dari itu, saya sangat
mengharapkankritik dan saran untuk kesempurnaan makalah ini.

Pembahasan

Title: Came late to school
Students often experience stress stemming from their academic activities. for
final year students, what is often a stressor is completing a thesis. symptoms of stress in
students are feeling tired, anxious, not excited or wanting to stop working on the thesis.
the impact is that the thesis work is delayed and chooses to forget it, avoiding the
supervisor, complaining on social media about the difficulties faced and ultimately
delaying the study period. when experiencing stress, students like to share problems
with the closest person to get a solution or just to relieve their feelings, which is called
self-disclosure, which means sharing information about themselves with others. this
study aims to determine the effect of self-disclosure on stress levels in college students.
the study used a correlational method with simple linear regression analysis. measuring
instruments using the revised self disclosure scale and student-life stress inventory. the
number of subjects is 49 students of the faculty of psychology uin sgd bandung who are
working on their thesis. the results showed no effect of self-disclosure on stress levels.
Last Monday, I came late to my school because I played playstation untill 2.00
am in the night. Because that I woke up late. I woke up about 6.45 am and the class
would be began at 7.00 am. I ran to bathroom to take a bath. I usually had a breakfast
after took a bath, but in that day I did not do that.I always went to school by my
motorcycle. But in that day, I forgot where I put the key. So, I went to the school by
public transportation. It made me took a longer time.

I arrived at school at 7.30 am, I ran to my class but I saw my teacher has stood
in front of the class to teach. I entered to my class and of course my teacher was angry
to me because I came late.

B. Narative text
Title: Sangkuriang and Dayang Sumbi

Once upon a time, a happy family lived in a kingdom in Priangan Land. They
were a father in the form of a dog, his name was Tumang, a mother who was called
Dayang Sumbi, and a child who was called Sangkuriang. One day, Dayang Sumbi
asked her son to hunt with his lovely dog, Tumang. After hunting all day,
Sangkuriang became desperate and worried because he hunted no deer. Then he
thought of shooting his dog. After that, he took the dog's liver and carried it home.
Soon, Dayang Sumbi found out that it was not deer lever but Tumang's dog.
So, She was furious and hit Sangkuriang's head. In that incident, Sangkuriang got
wounded, and a scar was cast away from their home.
Years passed, and Sangkuriang traveled to many places and finally arrived at
a village. He met a beautiful woman and fell in love with her. When they were
discussing their wedding plans, the woman looked at the wound on Sangkuriang's
head. It matched her son's wound, who had left several years earlier. Soon she
realized that she had fallen in love with her son. She couldn't marry him, but how to
say it? Then, she found the way. She needed a lake and a boat to celebrate their
wedding day. Sangkuriang had to make them one night before sunrise. He built a
lake. With dawn just a moment away, the boat was almost complete. Dayang Sumbi
had to stop it. Then, she lit up the eastern horizon with flashes of light. It made the
cock crowded for a new day Sangkuriang failed to marry her. He was outraged and
then kicked the boat. It felt over and became the mountain of Tangkuban Perahu
Bandung
