This research aims to (1) describe the application of the model of learning
Problem Based Learning assisted media wheel of fortune in improving the skills
of teachers in the learning theme 7 class IV SD 4 Getassrabi school year
2018/2019, (2) describe the application of the model of learning Problem Based
Learning assisted media wheel of fortune in improving the learning activities of
students of class IV SD 4 Getassrabi school year 2018/2019, (3) describe the
application of the model of learning Problem Based Learning assisted media
wheel of fortune in improving the ability of critical thinking on the theme 7
students of class IV SD 4 Getassrabi school year 2018/2019
Critical thinking is a process of thinking about an idea or idea or concept-
related problems to be developed in the learning process. The development of
critical thinking ability of the students on the theme of 7 can be enhanced using
Problem Based Learning model. Problem Based Learning model is a model of
learning in which Shiva faced an issue to actively engage students and to solve the
problem. Wheel of Fortune is media of learning media in the shape of a circle or
wheel that can be played is divided into several sectors. The hypothesis of action
in this research is the improvement of the skills of teachers, the learning activities
of students and critical thinking ability of students of class IV on the theme of 7 in
SD 4 Getassrabi school year 2018/2019 through the application of the model of
Problem Based Learning a media-assisted wheel of fortune.
Research action class is implemented in the class IV SD 4 Getassrabi with
the subject 16 students. This research was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle I
and cycle II. On each cycle consists of four stages including i.e. planning,
execution, observation and reflection. Free variables in the research model of
Problem Based Learning and media of the wheel of fortune, while the variable
terikatnya that is critical thinking ability of the students, the learning activities of
students and teachers on skills learning theme 7. Data collection methods method
using interviews, observation, tests and documentation. The analysis of the data
used is descriptive data analysis.
The results of the study there was an increase in (1) teacher skills in
managing the learning in cycle I gained an average value of 73.43 low
qualifications, in cycle II obtaining an average value of 85,93 high qualifications
(2) Student learning activities the attitude aspect on the I cycle gained an average
value of 63,86 low qualifications, on the cycle II gained an average value of 82,22
qualified enough. The student learning activities aspect of the skills on the I cycle
gained an average value of 67,70 low qualifications, on a cycle II obtaining an
average value of 79,94 sufficient qualifications. (3) The students ' critical thinking

ability in cycle I gained an average value of 73,81 low qualifications with a
classical tunity of 62.5%, on the II cycle of gaining an average of 89,65 either
qualifications with a classical tunity of 87.5%.
The conclusion of this study is the application of the model of Problem
Based Learning assisted by the media wheel of Fortune can increase the students '
critical thinking ability in theme 7 in class IV SD 4 Getašrabi 2018/2019 school
year. So that the teacher can use the model of Problem Based Learning to help
media wheel fortune at the time of teaching.

cukup. Aktivitas belajar siswa aspek keterampilan pada siklus I memperoleh nilai
rata-rata 67,70 kualifikasi rendah, pada siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 79,94
kualifikasi cukup. (3) kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada siklus I memperoleh
nilai rata-rata 73,81 kualifikasi rendah dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 62,5%,
pada siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 89,65 kualifikasi baik dengan ketuntasan
klasikal sebesar 87,5%.
Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penerapan model Problem Based
Learning berbantuan media roda keberuntungan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan
berpikir kritis siswa pada tema 7 di kelas IV SD 4 Getassrabi tahun ajaran
2018/2019. Sehingga guru dapat menggunakan model Problem Based Learning
berbantuan media roda keberuntungan pada saat mengajar.
