Pendahuluan
1. Orientasi
 Guru meminta ketua kelas untuk memimpin peserta didik memberi salam dan berdoa

 Warm Up: Pertanyaan pemantik, ditunjukkan contoh user guide sebuah produk.
 Orientasi masalah: Menonton dan mendengarkan video tentang bagaimana cara mengirim
file melalui bluetooth dari ponsel ke PC/Laptop
 Organizing student:
Peserta didik berkelompok, diberikan teks prosedur tentang Manual/User Guide.
 Satu dari masing-masing kelompok membacakan teks dan anggota lainnya mendengarkan.
Mereka mengidentifikasi tujuan penulis dan menyimpulkan informasi tersirat sederhana dari
isi teks tersebut.
 Masing-masing kelompok menyampaikan hasil nya
 Guru menganalisa dan mengevaluasi hasil kerja peserta didik
  Guru menanyakan pada peserta didik tentang apa yang mereka ketahui dari teks prosedur,

kata kerja umum berdasarkan gambar yang disediakan.

Pertemuan ke 5-6 (TIPS: Listening- Speaking, Reading-Viewing)

 Warm up: Ice Breaking (If you’re happy clap your hands)
 Pemantik: Apa pesan dari lagu pada ice breaking tadi? (Sebuah tips)
 Orientasi masalah: Ditampilkan video tentan Tips cara belajar Bahasa Inggris yang efektif
 Organazing students:
Peserta didik dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok kecil terdiri dari 3 orang.
 Setiap kelompok diberikan teks prosedur Tips. Salah satu anak membacakan dan yang
lainnya mendengarkan serta menangkap makna serta menyimpulkan informasi tersurat dan
tersirat dari teks tersebut.
 Masing-masing kelompok menyampaikan hasil nya
 Guru menganalisa dan mengevaluasi hasil kerja peserta didik

Pertemuan Ke 7 (TIPS: Writing-Presenting)

 Peserta didik bersama kelompok menyusun teks TIPS sederhana dengan kosa kata dan kata
kerja umum berdasarkan gambar yang disediakan.
 Peserta didik mempresentasikan hasil tulisannya Guru memberikan feedback
 Peserta didik diberikan Quiz melalui Quizizz
 Asesmen Individu: Tes tertulis

Penutup
 Guru memberikan apresiasi kepada seluruh peserta didik yang telah mengikuti pembelajaran pada
hari ini.
 Guru dan peserta didik melakukan kesimpulan bersama peserta didik dan refleksi mengenai
pembelajaran hari ini.

Materi/Bahan Bacaan:
Procedure text is a text that explains, inform or helps reader on how to make or use
something. Dalam bahasa Indonesianya, procedure text adalah teks yang memberikan instruksi,
menginformasikan, atau membantu pembaca tentang bagaimana cara untuk membuat atau
melakukan sesuatu.

1. The purpose of procedure text atau tujuan procedure text

adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana sesuatu dibuat, dilakukan atau digunakan melalui langkah-
langkah yang berurutan (to show how something is made/used/done through sequence of steps).

2. Structure of procedure text

terdiri dari 3 bagian: goal, materials, dan steps
3. Language Features of Procedure Text
a. Simple Present Tense
Procedure text harus ditulis dengan menggunakan Simple Present Tense, dikarenakan
dalam procedure text terdapat kalimat-kalimat fakta mengenai cara membuat atau melakukan
sesuatu.

b. Kalimat Perintah (Imperative Sentences)

Imperative sentence selalu diawali oleh verb 1 dari action verb atau kata kerja yang melibatkan
aktivitas fisik. Jadi, kita tidak perlu memakai subject di awal kalimatnya.
Contoh: Add 3 onions and mix it well. Kalimat ini diawali oleh verb 1, add. Tidak ada subjek di awal
kalimatnya

c. Kata Penghubung (Connectives)

Kata penghubung (connectives) digunakan dalam sebuah procedure text untuk menghubungkan
langkah-langkah di dalamnya supaya daftar instruksi yang dibuat menjadi runtut dan mudah
dipahami.
Contoh: firstly, secondly, then, after that, finally, dan sebagainya.

d. Kata Keterangan (Adverbs)

Kata keterangan (adverbs) digunakan untuk memberikan keterangan waktu. Ada 2 jenis kata
keterangan atau adverbs yang digunakan dalam procedure text, yaitu:
 Adverb of time atau kata keterangan waktu yang menandakan berapa lama kita harus
melakukan sesuatu. Contoh: in 10 minutes, for 1 hour.
 Adverb of manner atau keterangan cara bagaimana melakukan sesuatu. Contoh: slowly, well,
evenly.

Tips for preparing exams effectively
 1. If you are a visual learner, you should use pictures to memorize things. Visual learners
learn more easily with picture than words.
 2. Study regularly to attain lesson targets. You should not cram overnight a day before the
exam.
 3. Learn that you need to learn. Listen and pay attention to your teacher, especially when
he/she emphasises that something is important.
 4. Order your priorities and manage your time well. You must not spend your time for
unnecessary activities
 5. Set your objectives, such as your expected mark, to motivate yourself.
 6. Make a timetable for studying and stick with it.

Burning a CD allows you to take music from one CD and transfer it onto another CD. This process is
possible with any computer that has a CD driver, but it is easier on a computer that can run two CDs
at once. Either way, you can copy all your music from one CD to the next. Here is how to copy from
one CD to another, using one and two CD drivers.
Instructions Burning with two CD Trays
1. Insert the CD from which you want to burn music into your computer’s CD tray. Insert a blank
CD into your computer’s second CD tray.
2. Open windows media player and wait for it to recognize the CD.
3. Click the “burn” option at the top of Windows Media Player. Drag the songs you want from the
list of your songs into the area on the right labelled “Burn List”.
4. Choose the blank CD onto which you want to burn your song. This can be done at the top of
the Burn List Menu.

5. Click the “Start Burn” button when you have all the song you want for the CD added to the Burn
List. Wait for your computer to finish the CD, then take both of the CDs out.
