 Definisi Sistem Proteksi

Proteksi : perlindungan/pengaman,
yakni sistem yang digunakan untuk mengatasi
kondisi abnormal (gangguan).
Kondisi abnormal itu dapat berupa antara lain:
hubung singkat, tegangan lebih, beban lebih,
frekuensi sistem rendah, asinkron dan lain-lain.
Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya
gangguan:
– Faktor Manusia
– Faktor Internal
– Faktor Eksternal
Fungsi utama Sistem Proteksi:
1. Untuk melindungi seluruh sistem dan
memelihara kontinyuitas suplai
2. Untuk memperkecil kerusakan dan
memperkecil biaya
3. Untuk menjamin keselamatan dari personil
(pengguna).

What the PROBLEM…?

One day there was a lightning strike toward
a telecommunication antenna tower belong
to one of my neighbor. The result of it were
that many television sets, audio system and
telephone sets owned by the houses
nearby and including those of the owner of
the antenna being not working anymore.
Please discuss this matter, of course the
discussion should be focused on protection
point of view even though it is still opened
to add some other important materials.
