 APA ITU PLTGU
PLTGU adalah gabungan antara PLTG
dengan PLTU, dimana panas dari gas
buang dari PLTG digunakan untuk
menghasilkan uap yang digunakan
sebagai fluida kerja di PLTU. Dan bagian
yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan uap
tersebut adalah HRSG (Heat Recovery
Steam Generator).
 KOMPONEN UTAMA
Cranking Motor

Cranking Motor adalah alat yang digunakkan

sebagai penggerak awal saat turbin belum
menghasilkan tenaga penggerak generator
ataupun compressor.

Air Filter

Air Filter merupakan filter yang berfungsi

untuk menyaring udara bebas agar udara yang
mengalir menuju ke compressor merupakan
udara yang bersih.
 KOMPONEN UTAMA
Compressor
Compressor sebagai penghisap udara
luar, dengan terlebih dahulu melalui air
filter.

Combustion Chamber

Combustion chamber ( ruang bakar )

adalah ruang yang dipakai sebagai
tempat pembakaran bahan bakar solar
dan udara atomizing.
 KOMPONEN UTAMA
Gas Turbine
Gas Turbine adalah turbin yang
berputar dengan menggunakan
energi Gas panas yang dihasilkan dari
combustion chamber.

Selector Valve

Selector Valve merupakan valve

yang berfungsi untuk mengatur gas
buangan dari turbin gas, apakah
akan dibuang langsung ke udara
ataukah akan dialirkan menuju ke
HRSG.
 KOMPONEN UTAMA
Gas Turbin Generator (GTG)

GTG (Gas Turbine Generator)

berfungsi sebagai alat pembangkit
listrik dengan menggunakan tenaga
putaran yang dihasilkan dari turbin
gas.
Steam Turbine Generator (STG)

STG (Steam Turbine Generator)

merupakan generator berfungsi
sebagai alat pembangkit listrik
dengan menggunakan tenaga
putaran yang diperoleh dari turbin
uap

Steam Turbine

Steam Turbine ( Turbin Uap ) adalah turbin

yang berputar dengan menggunakan energi
uap.

Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG)

Berfungsi untuk memanaskan air dengan

menggunakan panas gas buang dari turbin
gas sehingga dihasilkan uap dengan tekanan
dan temperatur tertentu yang konstan.

Boiler

Boiler atau ketel uap adalah suatu alat yang

digunakan untuk memproduksi uap dengan
tekanan dan temperature tertentu

 KOMPONEN UTAMA
Turbin
Turbin berfungsi untuk mengubah energi
potensial menjadi energi mekanik. Gaya
jatuh air yang mendorong baling-baling
menyebabkan turbin berputar.

PRINSIP KERJA
 SIKLUS KERJA PLTGU
Siklus Terbuka (Open Cycle)
Siklus Terbuka merupakan proses
produksi listrik pada PLTGU dimana
gas buangan dari turbin gas langsung
dibuang ke udara melalui cerobong
saluran keluaran
Siklus Tertutup (Closed Cycle)
Jika pada Siklus Terbuka gas buang dari
turbin gas langsung dibuang melalui
cerobong saluran keluaran, maka pada
proses Siklus Tertutup, gas buang dari turbin
gas akan dimanfaatkan terlebih dahulu untuk
memasak air yang berada di HRSG (Heat
Recovery Steam Generator).
 KELEBIHAN
Emisi lebih ramah
lingkungan karena
menggunakan bahan
bakar gas
Dapat dibangun
dengan beberapa
Daya yang dihasilkan turbin gas dan HRSG
menjadi lebih besar untuk satu turbin uap
sehingga

Senipah Gas Turbin Power Plant (GTPP) terletak di
Teluk Pemedas Desa di Kecamatan Semboja, Kabupaten
Kutai Kartanegara sekitar 70 Km dari Balikpapan, dan 41
Km dari Gardu Manggarsari 150 KV (Batas Kota
Balikpapan).
 KELEBIHAN KEKURANGAN
 Dapat memperbaiki efisiensi (dibandingkan yang
hanya menggunakan PLTG)
Daya yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih besar
Pembangunan dapat dilakukan secara bertahap
(pertama dibangun PLTG dans elanjutnya ditambah
PLTU).
Dapat dibangun dengan beberapa turbin gas dan
