TEORI ANTRIAN, RISET OPERASI PROBABILISTIK

Jurusan Matematika FMIPA UNS
[Kelompok, Dikumpulkan pada Waktu Ujian]
a. Probabilitas fasilitas layanan menganggur jika yang diterima Pelamar 1.
2. The time between arrivals at L&J restaurant is exponential with mean 5 minutes. The
restaurant opens for business at 11:00 A.M. determine the following:
a. The probability if having 10 customers in the restaurant at 11:12 A.M. given that there
were 8 at 11:05 A.M.
b. The probability that a new customer will arrive between 11:28 and 11:33 A.M. given that
the last customer arrived at 11:25 A.M.
3. Inventory is withdrawn from a stock of 80 items according to a Poisson distribution at the
rate of 5 items per day. Determine the following
a. The probability that 10 items are withdrawn during the first 2 days.
b. The probability that no items are left at the end of 4 days.
c. The average number of items withdrawn over a 4-day period.
4. Automata car wash facility with only one bay. Cars arrive according to a Poisson distribution
with a mean of 4 cars per hour, and may wait in the facilitys parking lot if the bay is busy.
The time for washing and cleaning a car is exponential, with a mean of 10 minutes. Cars that
cannot park in the lot can wait in the street bordering the wash facility.
a. Expected number of empty parking spaces
b. Expected waiting time until a service starts.
c. The average number of cars in the lot
d. The average number of cars in the system
e. The average number of busy servers
5. Patients Arrive at a 1-doctor clinic according to a Poisson distribution at the rate 16 patients
per hour. Examination time per patient is exponential, with a mean of 2.5 minutes. The
waiting room does not accommodate more than 17 patients. Determine the following:
a. Probability that an arriving patient will not wait.
b. The probability that the doctor is not idle.
c. Expected number of patiens in the (i) queue, and (ii) system.
d. Expected waiting time until (i) an examination starts, and (ii) an examination finishs.
e. The benefits received by the doctor in one day if each patient has to pay Rp. 10.000,-. If
for increasing one space in the waiting space the doctor has to pay Rp. 7000 per hour,
will the doctor do it?
