CENTRIFUGE

Sentrifuge merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk memisahkan organel berdasarkan

massa jenisnya melalui proses pengendapan. Dalam prosesnya, sentrifus menggunakan
prinsip rotasi atau perputaran tabung yang berisi larutan agar dapat dipisahkan berdasarkan
massa jenisnya.

Fungsi Sentrifuge
1. Memisahkan partikel atau sel darah dari while blood untuk memperoleh
plasma atau serum.
2. Memisahkan endapan protein dalam pemeriksaan kimia.
3. Untuk mendapatkan elemen seluler berkonsentrasi tinggi dan komponen
lainnya dari cairan biologi untuk pemeriksaan mikroskopik atau pemeriksaan
kimia.
4. Memisahkan komponen lipid dan komponen lainnya dari plasma/serum,
dan memisahkan lipoprotein dari yang lainnya.

BAGIAN-BAGIAN CENTRIFUGE
a) Motor
Kecepatan motor yang tinggi akan menghasilkan gaya sentrifugal yang tinggi.
b) Speed Control
Untuk mengatur kecepatan motor agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanpa speed control
motor akan berputar dengan kecepatan maksimum
c) Timer
Berfungsi untuk mengatur lamanya alat bekerja
d) Break system
Pengereman motor diperlukan agar putaran motor dapat dengan segera dihentikan

CENTRIFUGE FUNCTION

4. Separating lipid components and other components from plasma / serum, and separating
lipoproteins from others.

PARTS CENTRIFUGE

a) Motor ; High motor speed will produce a high centrifugal force.

b) Speed Control ; To adjust the motor speed to suit your needs without speed control the
motor will rotate with maximum speed

c) Timer ; Serves to regulate the length of the tool to work

d) Break the system ; Motor braking is needed so that the motor rotation can be stopped
immediately
