pendek sederhana dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara
akurat, lancar dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan
sekitar.
6.2. Mengungkapkan makna dan langkah retorika dalam esai
pendek sederhana dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa secara
akurat, lancar dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan
sekitar dalam teks berbentuk descriptive dan recount.

D. Tujuan Pembelajaran
Setelah pembelajaran siswa dapat:
1. Mengidentifikasi generic structure dari teks recount dengan benar.
2. Mengidentifikasi informasi dari suatu teks recount.
3. Merespon makna isi teks recount sederhana yang telah dibaca dengan
menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh guru berkaitan dengan teks tersebut.
4. Menyusun beberapa kalimat secara acak menjadi sebuah teks berbentuk
recount.

1) Simple past tense
Function: to express an event or activity that has completed in the past.

Elaborasi
Dalam kegiatan elaborasi, guru:
a. Membagi siswa menjadi beberapa kelompok. Setiap kelompok terdiri dari
dua orang.
b. Membagikan crossword yang berisikan 10 irregular verbs dan 10 regular
verbs dalam bentuk past.
c. Memerintahkan siswa menemukan kata kerja tersebut.
d. Memerintahkan siswa membuat kalimat dari kata kerja tersebut dalam
bentuk kalimat positif, negative, dan tanya.
Konfirmasi
Dalam kegiatan konfirmasi, guru:
a. Bertanya jawab dengan siswa untuk meluruskan kesalahan pemahaman dan
memberikan penguatan.
Pertemuan kedua
1. Kegiatan Pendahuluan (10 menit)
a. Menyiapkan kondisi kelas : guru menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran hari
ini yaitu tentang recount.
b. Apersepsi : guru bertanya kepada siswa tentang materi pertemuan
sebelumnya.
c. Motivasi : memberikan motivasi sebelum melakukan pembelajaran.
Elaborasi
Dalam kegiatan elaborasi, guru:
a. Membagi siswa menjadi beberapa kelompok. Setiap kelompok terdiri dari
4-5 orang.
b. Membagikan jumble teks recount kepada siswa.
c. Memerintah siswa menyusun teks tersebut menjadi teks yang baik.
d. Memerintah siswa mengidentifikasi unsur kebahasaan yang digunakan
dalam teks recount.
e. Memerintah siswa mempresentasikan hasil diskusi tentang unsur
kebahasaan yang digunakan dalam teks recount.
Konfirmasi
Dalam kegiatan konfirmasi, guru:
a. Bertanya jawab dengan siswa untuk meluruskan kesalahan pemahaman dan
memberikan penguatan.
