Berdasarkan Global Peace Index (2021), Malaysia berada dikedudukan ke-23 di antara
negara-negara yang selamat di dunia. Malaysia sering dijadikan model kepada negara-negara
lain dari segi keharmonian rakyatnya yang terdiri berbilang etnik, agama dan budaya.

Berdasarkan pernyataan di atas, bincangkan dengan mendalam:

1. Langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh Malaysia dalam membina negara satu bangsa
sehingga boleh menjadi model untuk negara-negara lain.

2. Proses asimilasi yang berlaku di Malaysia sehingga menjadikan negara ini antara
negara yang teraman di dunia.

3. Sebab-sebab masih ada unsur-unsur negatif dalam membina masyarakat majmuk


di negara ini.

Dalam kehidupan masyarakat pelbagai agama di Malaysia, huraikan faktor-faktor yang


berpotensi menggugat keharmonian beragama.

Seterusnya berdasarkan faktor-faktor tersebut, berikan cadangan-cadangan terbaik bagi


meningkatkan keharmonian kehidupan beragama dalam konteks tersebut.

Corak ekonomi yang diamalkan oleh penjajah British telah meninggalkan kesan-kesan
mendalam ke atas sosioekonomi masyarakat Malaysia selepas kemerdekaan.

Apakah kesan-kesan ini dan bagaimana kerajaan menangani cabaran ekonomi pada ketika
itu?

Sistem pendidikan adalah mekanisme penting dalam usaha membangunkan masyarakat dan
negara ke arah yang lebih maju dan membangun dari pelbagai perspektif kehidupan. Peranan
sistem pendidikan tidak boleh dikesampingkan dalam kehidupan masyarakat Malaysia kerana
kepentingannya dalam mewujudkan hubungan etnik yang harmoni.

Berdasarkan pernyataan di atas, bincangkan:

1. Pendidikan sebagai agen pemupukan perpaduan etnik di Malaysia.

2. Peranan guru-guru dalam memupuk perpaduan etnik.

3. Pada pandangan anda, adakah sistem pendidikan Malaysia berjaya mewujudkan


hubungan perpaduan yang kukuh? Jalankan satu sesi temuramah dengan guru,
guru besar, pegawai pendidikan atau ibu bapa yang mempunyai anak di sekolah,

country.

3. The reasons there are still challenges in creating a peaceful multicultural society in

Education system is an important mechanism for the development of society and the nation
towards a more advanced and developed way of life. The role of the education system cannot
be overstated in the Malaysian society because of its importance in establishing harmonious
ethnic relations.

Based on the statement above, discuss:

1. Education as the agent to promote ethnic harmony in Malaysia.

2. The roles of teachers in building harmonious ethnic relations.

3. Has the Malaysian education system managed to bring about a strong ethnic relations
in this country? You should hold an interview with a teacher, a principal, an
education officer or parents with children in school to answer this question. Provide a
screenshot for this interview. Kindly adhere to your state and/or central government
guideline concerning social contact to conduct this interview.

4. The ways to bolster the quality and value of the Malaysia education system, so that it
stands among the best in the world.
