limbah plastik menjadi bahan bakar alternatif.

Abstract
Plastics widely used in the world of human's activities. There are various types of plastic. Plastics have
a negative impact so that the necessary process of recycling. The volume of plastic that can be
processed at this time ranges from 4%. Various recycle process has been carried out. One of the more
promising recycle process and good prospects are the processing of plastics waste into alternative
fuels. The purpose of this study is to convert plastic waste into alternative fuel, the characteristics of
processing plastic waste, and the characteristics of the fuel produced by plastic waste. Plastic waste
material is LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene). This research was conducted by using the tools consists
of a pyrolysis reactor, connecting pipes, condensers, and shelters pyrolysis oil. This research method is
to perform the pyrolysis process at temperature of 350oC, 500oC, and 700°C and a reaction time of 0-
60 minutes. The result of volumes oil at temperature of 350oC, 500oC, and 700°C are 140 ml, 210 ml,
and 365 ml respectively. The density of oil at temperature of 350oC, 500oC, and 700°C are 0.7291 g /
ml, 0.7563 gr / ml, and 0.7336 gr / ml respectively. The calorific values of oil at temperature of
temperature 350oC, 500oC, and 700°C are 36.290 J / g, 28.517 J / g, and 40.124 J / g respectively. The
oil that were produced by pyrolysis were equal to kerosene and gasoline. The best temperature among
three variations is at 700 oC.

2.4. Pirolisis
hidrokarbon rantai pendek terbentuk.

a. Nilai kalor
atas (HHV, High Heating Value).

Abstract The density of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide in pure water and in the presence of KCl and NaCl at room
temperature are reported. The concentrations of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide are varied from (0.013 to 0.0002) mol L-1.
Both the salts have a concentration of 0.01 M. The density of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide in presence of KCl is higher
than NaCl. On the basis of the obtained results of density measurements, the critical micelle concentration (cmc), degree of
dissociation (α) and partial molar volume of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide in pure water and in the presence of KCl and
NaCl are determined. The obtained cmc values are also analyzed with those accounted on the basis of the surface tension data
from the previous paper [1]. It is observed that the partial molar volume of surfactant increases with increase in concentration.
The lesser value of partial molar volumes of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide is noticed in the presence of KCl than NaCl.
