D. Materi Pembelajaran

Listen to the following monologue read by your teacher.

Riana has made some fruit kebabs. She wants Angga to taste them.
“Hi, Angga. Care to taste this?”
“What is it? It looks so delicious.”
“Well, I call this fruit kebab.”
“Oh I see. How do you make them?”
“It’s easy. I saw the recipe in my mom’s magazine.”
“Great!” Of course I’ll taste it”

Langkah-langkah :

Pertemuan 1 (2x 40 menit)

A. Kegiatan Awal : Motivasi, Prasyarat Pengetahuan, Tujuan Pembelajaran

 Tanya jawab berbagai hal terkait kondisi siswa.
  Review materi pelajaran yang lalu.
 Menanyakan tugas yang diberikan dari pertemuan yang lalu.
 Guru menyusun/menyiapkan skenario yang akan ditampilkan.
 Guru memberikan penjelasan tentang kompetensi yang ingin dicapai.

B. Kegiatan Inti : Eksplorasi, Elaborasi, Konfirmasi

Eksplorasi :
 Guru menunjuk beberapa siswa untuk mempelajari skenario dua hari sebelum
KBM.
 Guru membentuk kelompok siswa yang anggotanya 5 orang.
 Menjawab berbagai pertanyaan tentang ungkapan-ungkapan meminta dan
memberi kepastian.

Elaborasi :

 Memanggil para siswa yang sudah ditunjuk untuk melakonkan skenario yang
sudah dipersiapkan.
 Masing-masing siswa duduk di kelompoknya sambil memperhatikan mengamati
skenario yang sedang diperagakan.
 Setelah selesai dipentaskan, masing-masing siswa diberikan kertas sebagai
lembar kerja untuk membahas.
 Mendengarkan percakapan dan melengkapi ungkapan-ungkapan yang hilang.
 Memperagakan monolog diatas secara bergantian.
 Mendengarkan dan menuliskan ungkapan-ungkapan yang terkait dengan materi
tentang ” How to make a fruit kebabs ”.
 Mendengarkan dan menuliskan bahan-bahan yang dipergunakan untuk membuat
fruit kebabs.
 Mendengarkan dan menuliskan” the English equivalent”.

Konfirmasi :
 Masing-masing kelompok menyampaikan hasil kesimpulannya.
 Menanggapi hasil kesimpulan dari siswa oleh siswa atau guru
 Guru memberikan kesimpulan secara umum.

C. Kegiatan Penutup :

 Menanyakan kesulitan siswa dalam memahami meminta dan memberi

kepastian, serta mengungkapkan dan menanggapi keraguan.

Then, choose the place for the house. Next, cut
woods into large sticks to make frame for the house.
After that, tie the sticks together and make the frame
for the house. Put palm leaves on top for the roof.
Now the house is ready.
