Gambaran Pengetahuan Mahasiswa Co-Ass Tentang Pengelolaan Limbah Radiologi
Kedokteran Gigi Di Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Di Salah Satu Universitas di Sumatera.

Pengelolaan limbah radiologi kedokteran gigi perlu dilakukan untuk
menghindari risiko kesehatan dan kerusakan lingkungan. Penyebaran limbah
radiologi di lingkungan rumah sakit gigi mulut disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan
dokter gigi muda tentang pengelolaan dan dampak limbah radiologi. Limbah
radiologi kedokteran gigi berupa cairan fixer, developer. X-ray film, dan lead yang
terdapat pada pembungkus film. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui gambaran
pengetahuan dokter gigi muda tentang pengelolaan limbah radiologi kedokteran gigi
di Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui
gambaran pengetahuan mahasiswa co-ass tentang pengelolaan limbah cairan fixer,
developer, air pencuci film dan pembungkus film. Jenis penelitian ini adalah
deskriptif yang dilakukan di Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 100 mahasiswa co-ass FKG yang memenuhi kriteria
inklusi, selanjutnya subjek penelitian diminta mengisi lembar kuesioner berupa
google form. Kesimpulannya, 63% mahasiswa berpengetahuan kurang, 22%
mahasiswa berpengetahuan cukup dan 15% mahasiswa berpengetahuan baik tentang
pengelolaan limbah radiologi kedokteran gigi.

Description of Knowledge of Co-Ass Students About Management of Dental
Radiology Waste at Faculty of Dentistry at A University in Sumatera

Dental radiology waste management needs to be done to avoid health risks
and environmental damage. The spread of radiological waste in the oral dental
hospital environment is due to the lack of knowledge of young dentists about the
management and impact of radiological waste. Dental radiology waste in the form of
fixer, developer fluid. X-ray film, and the leads contained in the film wrap. The
purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of young dentists about the
management of dental radiology waste at the North Sumatera University in Faculty
of Dentistry. The specific purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of
young dentists about the management of fixer, developer, film washing water and
film wrapping. This type of research is descriptive conducted at the North Sumatera
University in Faculty of Dentistry. The research subjects consisted of 100 co-ass
students of the who met the inclusion criteria, then the research subjects were asked
to fill out a questionnaire in the form of a google form. The conclusion is 63% of 100
students had low knowledge of radiological waste students 22% students had
moderate knowledge and 15% students had high knowledge of radiological waste.
