Remaja menghadapi banyak masalah kesehatan reproduksi karena perilaku

beresiko. Salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang
kesehatan reproduksi adalah melalui pendidikan kesehatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini
adalah untuk menilai efektifitas pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan
pendekatan health belief model (HBM) terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan
reproduksi remaja di MTs N 3 Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian
kuantitatif, desain penelitian menggunakan metode q u a s i - experimental design
dengan two group pre-test post-test design, populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa
kelas VII sampai dengan kelas IX MTsN 3 Padangsidimpuan sebanyak 248 orang,
sampel dalam penelitian ini senanyak 153 responden yang dibagi menjadi kelompok
intervensi dan kelompok kontrol, cara pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive
sampling,penelitian telah dilakukan pada Januari 2023 dan instrumen penelitian
menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan
pengetahuan setelah edukasi intervensi pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan
pendekatan healt belief model (HBM) terhadap kelompok intervensi dan kelompok
control. Efektifitas pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan pendekatan health
belief model (HBM) terhadap kerentanan yang dirasakan dalam tingkatan pengetahuan
kesehatan reproduksi remaja dengan p value = 0.000<0,05. Terhadap keseriusan yang
dirasakan p value = 0.000, terhadap manfaat yang dirasakan p value = 0.000, terhadap
penghalang yang dirasakan p value = 0.000 dan terhadap kemampuan diri p value =
0.000. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pendidikan kesehatan dengan
menggunakan pendekatan health belief model (HBM) efektif terhadap peningkatan
pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja.

Belief Model (HBM) Approach toward Knowledge Level of Adolescent

Adolescents face many reproductive health problems due to risky behavior. One
strategy to increase adolescent knowledge about reproductive health is through health
education. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of health education using the
health belief model (HBM) approach toward increasing adolescent reproductive health
knowledge at MTs N 3 Padangsidimpuan.This research was a quantitative study, the
research design was used a quasi-experimental design method with two group pretest
and posttest design, the population were all students from VII to IX grade of MTsN 3
Padangsidimpuan about 248 people, the sample in this study were 153 respondents
which was divided into the intervention group and the control group, the method of
sampling used purposive sampling, the research was conducted on January 2023 and
the research instrument used a questionnaire. The results showed that there was an
increase in knowledge after the intervention of health education using the health belief
model (HBM) approach to the intervention group and the control group. The
effectiveness of health education using the health belief model (HBM) approach to
perceived vulnerability in the level of adolescent reproductive health knowledge with p
value = 0.000 <0.05. For perceived seriousness p value = 0.000, for perceived benefits
p value = 0.000, for perceived barriers p value = 0.000 and for self-ability p value =
0.000. The conclusion from this study was that health education using the health belief
model (HBM) approach was effective in increasing adolescent reproductive health
knowledge.
