Encounter activity 1 (An Exciting Beginning)
1. Teacher shows flashcards (week days), one at a time. ‘A Hello Song’
2. Pupils say and repeat the words clearly, e.g. Monday, Tuesday, ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?

1. Teacher announces the game. Pupils are divided into two groups, ‘Goodbye Song’

2. Teacher makes sure the pupils listen to the words spoken and mimic c
the words they hear from teacher and friends.
3. Then, pupils who has days flashcard need to stand up.
Encounter activity 3 (Game : Stop!)
1. Teacher announces the game and says one of the target words in a
sentence, e.g. Today is Tuesday. Pupils mime in response.
2. Teacher calls out ‘Stop!’ for the pupils to freeze into a statue. The
pupils who move need to sit out for a round.

1. Teacher announces the game and hides the flashcards .
2. Pupils needs to find the flashcards randomly.
3. Teacher repeats questions; "Where's Monday?" "Where's Tuesday?"
