Diuretik ialah obat yang dapat menambah kecepatan
pembentukan urin.

Fungsi utama diuretic adalah untuk memobilisasi caira

n edema, yang berarti mengubah keseimbangan caira
n sedemikian rupa sehingga volume cairan ekstrasel k
embali menjadi normal.
