( WPS )
DEFINISI :
WPS ( Welding Procedure Specification ) adalah dokumen
tertulis prosedur las yang berisi variable parameter
las yang dibuat sebagai acuan welder/welding operator
dalam membuat sambungan las konstruksi sesuai dengan
yang disyaratkan oleh standar dan code.
PQR (Procedure Qualification Record) adalah catatan /
rekaman hasil kualifikasi prosedur pengelasan sejak
awal pengelasan hingga hasil uji NDT/DT beserta data
pendukung sesuai dengan persyaratan codes, rules dan
standard konstruksi lainnya
DEFINISI :
• Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ ) :
Kualifikasi performansi juru las untuk menentukan
kemampuan tukang las dalam menghasilkan
sambungan las yang mulus ( Sound Weld ).

• Welding Procedure Qualification Test (WPQT) :


Proposal dokumen rencana pelaksanan kualifikasi
pada WPS untuk mendapatkan properties hasil
las- lasan yang sesuai dalam aplikasi di Konstruksi
VARIABEL-VARIABEL
• Essensial Variable ( Procedure ) : Variabel
parameter las yang jika terjadi perubahan akan
mempengaruhi sifat-sifat mekanis sambungan las yang
sudah diatur dalam kualifikasi WPS sesuai persyaratan.
• Essensial Variable ( Performance ) : Variabel las
yang jika terjadi perubahan kondisi akan
mempengaruhi kemampuan juru las untuk
menghasilkan hasil las yang mulus ( sound weld
metal ), seperti perubahan proses las, filler metal,
technique dan lain-lain
VARIABEL-VARIABEL
• Non Essensial Variable : perubahanya tidak
berpengaruh pada sifat mekanis dan tidak
mempengaruhi juru las untuk menghasilkan
las-lasan yang mulus.

• Supplementary Essensial Variable :Pengaruh


sambungan las karena adanya impact test
(variable akan menjadi essensial jika impact
disyaratkan dalam produk).

QW153.1 Tensile Strength. Minimum Specified Tensile, “ ksi “ Specimen shall have a
tensile strength not less than :

(c) the minimum specified tensile strength of the weld metal when the
applicable Section provides for the use of weld metal having lower
room temperature strength than the base metal;

(d) if the specimen breaks in the base metal outside of the weld or weld
interface, the test shall be accepted as meeting the requirements,
provided the strength is not more than 5% below the minimum
specified tensile strength of the base metal.

Specimens shall have a tensile strength not less than :

(e) the specified minimum tensile strength is for full thickness


pecimens including cladding for Aluminum Alclad materials
(P-No. 21 through P-No. 23) less than 1⁄2 in. (13 mm).
For Aluminum Alclad materials 1⁄2 in. (13 mm) and greater, the
specified minimum tensile strength is for both full thickness
specimens that include cladding and specimens taken from the
core.

specimen after testing

•The guide-bend specimen shall have no open


discontinuity in the weld or heat-affected zone
exceeding 1/8 in(3 mm) (any direction).
For corrosion-resistant 1/16 in (1.6 mm).
For Cladding 1/8 in (3.2 mm)

(b) the minimum specified tensile strength of the weaker
