pendahuluan
Let’s start with the first set of slides
Latar belakang
▫ . Biji salak mengandung 54,84% air, 0,48% lemak,
4,22% protein, 38,9% karbohidrat (Ariel, 2012).
Hasil uji fitokimia menunjukkan biji salak
mengandung senyawa flavonoid dan tannin serta
sedikit alkaloid. Kandungan flavonoid di dalam
ekstrak kulit salak mampu menurunkan kadar
glukosa dalam darah (Sahputra, 2008). Beberapa
manfaat mengkonsumsi biji salak yaitu, mengatasi
asam urat, memperlancar sistem pencernaan,
dapat mengobati disentri dan diare
(Coffeland,2018)

▫ , biji pepaya juga bekhasiat sebagai Antibakteri, yang
efektif melawan bakteri E. coli, Salmonella, dan infeksi
Staphylococcus. Biji pepaya mengandung senyawa-
senyawa steroid. Kandungan biji dalam buah pepaya
kira-kira 14,3 % dari keseluruhan buah pepaya
(Satriasa dan Pangkahila, 2010). Dalam sebuah studi
terhadap anak-anak Nigeria yang mengidap parasit
dalam pencernaan, 76,6 % dinyatakan bebas penyakit
setelah 7 hari mengkonsumsi biji pepaya (Nursal,2006).

Berdasarkan pemaparan tersebut, kami sebagai
mahasiswa berinisiatif untuk membuat suatu inovasi
produk minuman herbal yaitu kopi herbal dari biji
pepaya dan salak dengan penambahan serbuk cengkeh.
Penambahan serbuk cengkeh dikarenakan dalam
bunga cengkeh kering mengandung minyak atsiri ,
fixed oil, resin, tannin, protein, selulosa, pentosan dan
mineral yang baik untuk kesehatan tubuh dan juga
masih sangat sedikit orang yang menggunakan
cengkeh dalam industri makanan dan minuman.
