Abstrak merupakan ringkasan paper, biasanya ditulis dalam satu
paragraf, yang mengandung bagian-bagian utama dari keseluruhan
paper Sdr, dengan urutan penulisan sbb :

PENDAHULUAN
Fungsi Pendahuluan adalah :
Membentuk konteks dari paper Sdr. Hal ini dicapai dengan
mendiskusikan literature review (dengan kutipan-kutipan) dan
meringkas pemahaman Sdr saat ini mengenai persoalan yang Sdr
studi/teliti dan Sdr laporkan dalam paper Sdr,
Menyatakan tujuan dari paper Sdr, atau pertanyaan yang ingin
Sdr jawab, atau persoalan yang Sdr studi/teliti.
Jelaskan secara singkat jalan pikiran dan pendekatan yang Sdr
lakukan, dan jika mungkin jelaskan juga hasil-hasil yang dapat
diungkap oleh paper Sdr.
Jelasnya Pendahuluan harus dapat menjawab pertanyaan:
Apa yang saya lakukan? Apakah itu suatu hal yang penting untuk
dilakukan? Apakah itu relevan dengan audience yang hadir di
conference ini? Apa yang telah saya tahu mengenai hal itu
sebelum saya melakukan kajian ini? Bagaimana kajian saya ini
dapat menambah pengetahuan kita?

Pastikan bahwa Sdr menulis dengan jelas dan lugas tujuan dari paper
Sdr (atau bahasa lainnya: hipotesis!). Untuk mempermudah, Sdr boleh
menulis kalimat semacam:
Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk .
Paper ini mengkaji tiga macam mekanisme subsidi .
Sdr tidak perlu menulis secara nyata kata hipotesis, karena kata ini
sudah implisit jika Sdr telah menuliskan dengan jelas tujuan dari paper
Sdr.

DISKUSI
Fungsi Diskusi adalah untuk menginterpretasikan Hasil-Hasil yang telah
Sdr peroleh dalam koridor khasanah pengetahuan yang telah ada,
Diskusi juga berfungsi untuk menjelaskan pemahaman baru setelah
mempertimbangkan Hasil-Hasil yang Sdr peroleh.
Diskusi harus selalu berkaitan dengan Pendahuluan, khususnya yang
menyangkut pertanyaan yang ingin dijawab oleh paper (hipotesis), dan
literatur-literatur yang dikaji.
Apakah hasil dan temuan Sdr memberikan jawaban terhadap
hipotesis/pertanyaan Sdr? Jika ya, bagaimana Sdr menginterpretasikan
temuan-temuan Sdr?
Apakah temuan-temuan Sdr cocok/sejalan dengan temuan yang telah
dilaporkan orang lain? Jika tidak, apakah ada yang salah pada metoda
Sdr, atau metoda mereka?
Apakah temuan Sdr memberikan pengertian baru mengenai persoalan
yang Sdr studi?
Apakah temuan Sdr membuka jalan untuk perlu dilakukannya studi lebih
lanjut ?

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Jika Sdr menerima bantuan orang lain dalam melaksakan studi dan
pembuatan paper (ikut memikirkan, merancang eksperimen,
membantu mengerjakan, menerima material, dst), maka Sdr wajib
memberitahukan bantuan mereka.
