A. Tujuan Pembelajaran
 Siswa dapat melafalkan ekspresi tentang ungkapan agreement dan disagreement
sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.
 Siswa dapat mengidentifikasi ungkapan tentang ekspresi agreement dan
disagreement sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya di dalam dialog yang
tersedia.
 Siswa dapat melakukan dialog sederhana untuk mengungkapkan pernyataan
agreement dan disagreement beserta responnya dengan struktur teks dan unsur
kebahasaan yang tepat berdasarkan topik yang sudah disediakan.
 Siswa dapat menulis ungkapan agreement dan disagreement beserta responnya
dengan struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan yang tepat.
 Siswa dapat melakukan dialog sederhana yang mengungkapkan peryataan
agreement dan disagreement beserta responnya dengan menentukan tema sendiri
bersama pasangan kelompoknya berdasarkan struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan
yang tepat.

B. Materi Pembelajaran
 Definition
1. Transactional text
Transactional text is the text used to relate or communicate with others to get the
things that we want (information).
2. Agreement and Disagreement
Agreement means accepting someone’s idea. It is an expression that people
usually use to state their agreeing about the idea given.
Disagreement means refusing or declining someone’s idea. It is an expression that
people usually use to state their disagreeing about someone’s idea.

 Social Function
Expressing agreement and disagreement is one type of expression in English
that is used to express agree or disagree with an opinion, invitation, or fact.

1. BUILD KNOWLEDGE OF TEXT
 Guru meminta siswa untuk menonton video tentang “Agreement and
Disagreement”.
 Menanyakan pertanyaan berkaitan dengan video yang telah ditonton.

2. MODELLING OF THE TEXT


 Guru meminta siswa untuk mengidentifikasi ungkapan tentang ekspresi
agreement dan disagreement sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya di
dalam dialog yang tersedia.

Dialogue 1
Hana      : What do you think about the test yesterday, Mel?
Mellia    : I think it was difficult. I could not answer some of questions.
Hana      : I disagree with you. I think it’s easy.
Mellia : Well, that’s because you are smart.

Dialogue 2
Rifan   : Guys, I have an idea. How about if we go to beach in the next holiday?
Icha     : Yes, I agree with you. Where will we go?
Kania   :  Bali! I want to see sunrice in Kuta beach.
Icha     : I am sorry, I don’t agree, Kania.  It’s too expensive.
Kania  : Umm… What about with Sine beach in Tulungagung?
Rifan   : I agree, I never thought of that. Sine beach is Tulungagung’s Kuta beach.
