Dalam bahasa inggris, analytical exposition is a kind of text that present one side of the
issue in a form of argument. Dengan kata lain, analytical exposition merupakan sebuah
text tentang eksposisi yang memaparkan atau menjelaskan pendapat penulis akan
suatu hal yang terjadi.

Hal tersebut biasanya berupa fenomena atau issue hangat yang sedang terjadi dalam
masyarakat.

analytical exposition juga dibagi menjadi 3, sebagai berikut :

 Thesis : Thesis berisi pengenalan atau pemaparan terhadap tema yang akan di
bahas atu yang diangkat.
 Argument : Argument atau pendapat yaitu berisi pendapat-pendapat yang mulai
di paparkan oleh penulis terhadap isu yang siangkat tersebut.
 Reiteration : Dengan kata lain reiteration merupakan kesimpulan, yaitu berupa
penulisan kembali ide pokok, reiteration terletak pada akhir paragraf.

 analytical exposition selalu memakai simple present tense

 Banyak menggunakan conjunction (kata hubung)
 Berisi argumen-argumen.
