Standard 4.1 Hukum Indeks
Kandungan
Standard 4.1.1 Mempermudahkan ungkapan algebra yang melibatkan indeks dengan
Pembelajaran menggunakan hukum indeks.
Objektif 4.1.1 Mempermudahkan ungkapan algebra yang melibatkan indeks dengan
menggunakan hukum indeks dengan betul.
Aktiviti Pdp Set induksi:
1. Pelajar diminta untuk memberi sumbang saran tentang apa yang mereka
pelajari sebelum ini dengan menggunakan peta konsep. (Matematik T3)

Aktiviti:
1. Pelajar diagihkan dalam 4 kumpulan.
2. Setiap kumpulan diberikan hukum indeks yang berlainan.
3. Pelajar diberi 10 minit untuk meneliti, mentafsir dan mencari contoh untuk
menjelaskan hukum indeks tersebut.
4. Selepas 10 minit pelajar membentang hasil kerja mereka.
5. Sesi soal jawab dijalankan.

Penutup:
1. Pelajar merumuskan apa yang telah dipelajari.
2. Latihan diberikan untuk menguji kefahaman pelajar berkaitan dengan hukum
indeks.

OBJECTIVE 4.1.2 Solve problems involving indices correctly.

TEACHING & LEARNING Set induction:


ACTIVITIES (PdPc)
1. By using a suitable i-think map, students are required to list out the law of
indices that have been discussed in previous lesson (work in pair).
Activities:
1. Each group send a representative to draw a question (questions prepared by
teacher are related to real life problems involved indices). Eg, population
growth, compound interest and radioactive decay.
2. Students are given 20 minutes to solve the problems.
3. After 20 minutes, students present their solutions.
4. Q&A session.
Closure:
1. Students are guided to do a simple conclusion.
2. Worksheets are given as students’ homework.
