Descriptive Text is a text that explains about what a person, a thing or a place is like.
Social function of Descriptive text is to give description about someone, something, or a
place.
Generic structure of Descriptive Text;
Identification: Introduction or general statements.
Description: The parts of a text describe the object characteristics, appearances,
personality, habits or qualities.
Language features of Descriptive Text ;
Use adjectives: beautiful, gorgeous, large, extraordinary, big, old, ancient, luxurious, high,
cool, etc.
Use simple present tense: It looks beautiful
