ABSTRCT
Background: Hospital accreditation is an activity to assess a quality of service whether the service is
appropriate and appropriate or not to get the best and licensed title from the government. Hospital
accreditation can also be a benchmark for the community in the feasibility of treatment. Objective: To
find out the meaning of hospital accreditation, to determine the purpose of hospital accreditation and to
find out the factors that support the success of hospital accreditation Method: This journal uses the
literature review method, through the last 10 years journals related to the factors that support in the
success of the accreditation system in hospitals. Results: There were 4 factors that supported the
accreditation of safe houses, namely human resources, budget, supervision, and the socialization of
accreditation and standard operating procedures. Conclusion: Hospital accreditation is an important thing
that must be done faithfully every 3 years. This is done to find out how high operational standards that
have been set up are run by hospitals. Suggestion: The organization can consider the determining factors
in the accreditation assessment. This can be used as an effort to improve the quality of service and
hospital service quality standards.
