CHOOSE ONLY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TOPICS!

1. Retell a narrative text (story telling) based on the traditional or foreign stories. Your
story should include an orientation, complication and resolution! Don’t forget to tell
the moral value of your story!

2. Explain (explanatory text) on how something happens, e.g. how a metamorphosis of a

frog or butterfly happens, how the water cycle happens, etc. Explain it briefly give
examples or related picture is needed

3. Process (Procedure text) tell the process how to make something, e.g. how to make
fried rice, how to make a kite, etc. Tell it briefly and show the process with the
materials are needed

4. Act out a speech, choose any topic that you know best, so it makes you feel
comfortable to perform.

5. Imagine that you are a reporter, please report any event that happens around you, e.g.
car accidents, flood, or weather forecast. State the recommendation to the audiences
what they should or shouldn’t do!

The requirements of performance:

1. The duration around 2-5 minutes.
2. Make your speech fluent
3. Be sure that your pronunciation is correct.

1. Kompetensi Dasar : Mengungkapkan makna  dalam teks lisan fungsional

pendek dan esei sederhana narrative, explanation, dan discussion dalam konteks
kehidupan sehari-hari

2. Indikator soal :

1. Siswa dapat menceritakan cerita rakyat atau cerita narasi dari Negara lain lengkap
dengan orientasi, komplikasi dan resolusi. (Soal 1)
2. Siswa dapat menjelaskan ( teks eksplanasi ) bagaimana sesuatu terjadi , misalnya
bagaimana peristiwa metamorphosis terjadi pada katak atau pada kupu-kupu.(Soal . 2)
3. Siswa dapat menjelaskan proses membuat suatu produk atau proses bagaiama
mengoperasikan suatu barang, (Soal .3)
4. Siswa dapat menampilkan sebuah pidato dari suatu topic/ isu yang sedang hangat
dibicarakan, isi pidato maupun rekomendasi yang anda paparkan agar jelas bagi audien.

5. Dengan berasumsi bahwa anda adalah seorang reporter, laporkan sebuah peristiwa yang
terjadi disekitar anda, seperti kecelakaan bus, gempa bumi atau anda juga bisa melaporkan
ramalan cuaca yang berlaku esok hari. ( Soal 5)
