CAPAIAN PEMBELAJARAN:
Pada akhir fase E, peserta didik menggunakan teks lisan, tulisan dan visual dalam bahasa Inggris
untuk berkomunikasi sesuai dengan situasi, tujuan, dan pemirsa/pembacanya. Berbagai jenis teks
seperti narasi, deskripsi, prosedur, eksposisi, recount, report, dan teks asli menjadi rujukan utama
dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris di fase ini. Peserta didik menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk
menyampaikan keinginan/perasaan dan berdiskusi mengenai topik yang dekat dengan keseharian
mereka atau isu yang hangat sesuai usia peserta didik di fase ini. Mereka membaca teks tulisan
untuk mempelajari sesuatu/mendapatkan informasi. Keterampilan inferensi tersirat ketika
memahami informasi, dalam bahasa Inggris mulai berkembang. Peserta didik memproduksi teks
tulisan dan visual yang lebih.

B. KOMPETENSI AWAL: Peserta didik memiliki kemampuan dasar yang dibutuhkan untuk
mendukung pembelajaran Narrative text .

C. PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA: Dalam pembelajaran ini Diharapkan Peserta didik akan
mengembangkan kemampuan bernalar kritis,kreatif dan gotong royong dalam memahami dan
menggunakan Narrative text dalam menyusun kalimat sederhana

D. SARANA PRASARANA: LKPD, Bahan Tayang, Modul Ajar, Aplikasi LMS (GCR)

E. TARGET PESERTA DIDIK: Sebagian besar peserta didik dapat memahami materi ajar, beberapa
yang mempunyai kesulitan belajar akan diberikan bimbingan/remedial.

Pada tahapan memulai dari diri sendiri, peserta didik dapat mengakses sumber
pembelajaran tentang teks Narrative serta kalimat langsung dan tidak langsung berupa video di
kanal youtube :

Langkah Pembelajaran:
Kegiatan awal:
 Menyiapkan peserta didik untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran seperti berdoa, absensi,
menyiapkan buku pelajaran;
 Memotivasi peserta didik secara kontekstual sesuai dengan manfaat pembelajaran mengenai
narrative text dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
 Menjelaskan tujuan pembelajaran atau kompetensi dasar yang akan dicapai; dan
menyampaikan cakupan materi dan penjelasan uraian kegiatan.
Kegiatan Inti:
 Guru membagi siswa dalam beberapa kelompok(tergantung jumlah)
 Setiap kelompok diberikan teks berbeda dan mendiskusikan teks tersebut untuk mengetahui
macam macam narrative text
 Setiap kelompok bertukaran hasil pekerjaan mereka.
 Setiap kelompok membacakan hasil kerja kelompok lain dan memberi penilaian benar atau
salah dan jawaban kelompok yang salah akan diperbaiki oleh kelompok yang membacanya.
 Kelompok yang paling banyak benar akan diberi apresiasi.

Sura and Baya

A long time ago, there were two animals, Sura and Baya. Sura was the name of a shark
and Baya was a crocodile. They lived in a sea.

Once Sura and Baya were looking for some food. Suddenly, Baya saw a goat.
"Yummy, this is my lunch," said Baya.
"No way! This is my lunch. You are greedy" said Sura. Then they fought for the goat. After
several hours, they were very tired.

Feeling tired of fighting, they lived in the different places. Sura lived in the water and Baya
lived in the land. The border was the beach, so they would never fight again.

One day, Sura went to the land and looked for some food in the river. He was very hungry
and there was not much food in the sea. Baya was very angry when he knew that Sura
broke the promise.
Give your best answer to the following questions!

2. Asesmen formatif

Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Snow White. She lived with her aunt and uncle
because her parents were dead.
One day she heard her uncle and aunt talking about leaving Snow White in the castle because they both
wanted to go to America and they didn’t have enough money to take Snow White.
Snow White didn’t want her uncle and aunt to do that so she decided that it would be best if she
ran away. The next morning she ran away into the woods. She was very tired and hungry. Then she
saw a little cottage. She knocked but no one answered so she went inside and fell asleep.
Meanwhile, the seven dwarfs were coming home from work. There they found Snow White sleeping.
Then Snow White woke up. She saw the dwarfs.
The dwarfs said, “What is your name?”
Snow White said, “My name is Snow White.”
Then, Snow White told the dwarfs the whole story.
The dwarfs said, “If you want, you may live here with us.”
Snow White answered, “Oh, could I? Thank you.”
Finally, Snow White and the seven dwarfs lived happily ever after.

a) Diskusi di dalam kelas :


- Peserta didik diklasifikasikan kedalam beberapa kelompok, untuk selanjutnya
melakukan diskusi kelas mengenai fungsi social ,struktur teks , unsur kebahasaan dan jenis jenis teks
narrative

- Pada saat siswa melakukan diskusi didalam kelas, pendidik melakukan penilaian berupa catatan terkait
poin positif maupun aspek lain yang menarik yang perlu digaris bawahi untuk dibahas pada kegiatan
umpan balik.
b) Presentasi :
Secara berkelompok siswa mempresentasikan hasil diskusi mereka .Pada saat satu kelompok
tampil,kelompok lain menyimak .lalu akan tampil kelompok berikutnya dengan hasil pekerjaan kelompok
lain dan seterusnya.

c) Produk :
Secara berkelompok peserta didik membuat contoh teks narrative

E. PENGAYAAN DAN REMEDIAL:


Pengayaan : berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari tes diagnostik, formatif dan sumatif,
maka bagi siswa (high achiever) dapat membuat tulisan berbentuk narrative tentang cerita daerah masing
masing.

Remedial : berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari tes diagnostik, formatif dan sumatif,
maka bagi siswa (low achiever) dapat memperoleh penguatan terkait aspek yang
nampak perlu diperbaiki misal (kemampuan membuat kalimat; menyampaikan gagasan;
keterampilan berbahasa yang kurang saat presentasi)

dalam bahasa Inggris mulai berkembang. Peserta didik memproduksi teks tulisan dan visual yang lebih.

TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN : peserta didik mampu menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk berkomunikasi
dengan guru, teman sebaya dan orang lain dalam berbagai macam situasi dan tujuan lisan dan tulisan .

Study the two following story and determine the structure text on your group. (Pelajari dua cerita berikut
dan tentukan struktur ceritanya)
Text 1 CINDERELLA

One day, the king decided to throw a ball and invited all the young maidens in the kingdom.
While Cinderella’s sisters made her help them get ready for the ball, not once did they ask her if she
would like to go with them. Once they left, her Fairy Godmother appeared and helped Cinderella go to the
ball with a bit of magic that would only last until midnight. At the ball, Cinderella caught the eye of the
prince, as she was the most beautiful girl there, and they danced all night. When midnight came,
Cinderella had to leave the ball, and in her hurry, one of her glass slippers fell off her feet. The prince
found this slipper and vowed to marry the girl who the slipper belonged to. The prince went from house to
house, looking for the girl who’s foot fit the slipper, and he reached Cinderella’s house. Though
Cinderella’s stepsisters and stepmother tried to keep her from trying it on, the glass slipper was a perfect
fit, and she was soon married to the prince and lived happily ever after. This is a wonderful story that
captures how keeping a humble attitude will reap its rewards.

Text 2 “The Woodcutter and King of Mice”

The king of the mice lived inside a banyan tree in a forest. One day, a poor man was cutting down
some trees. As he started to cut down the banyan tree, the king of the mice grew frightened. "Please,
leave the tree standing," he said to the woodcutter, "and I'll give you a piece of gold every day." The
woodcutter agreed. So, every evening the king of the mice took out a piece of gold from under the roots of
the tree and gave it to the woodcutter. The woodcutter took the pieces of gold home and showed them to
his wife. After a few days, his wife asked him, "Where does the gold come from?" "Don't worry about
that," he said, "just keep it." A few days later she asked him again, but he did not tell her. "If you don't tell
me," she said, "I'll go and tell the government or even the king that you're a robber." The woodcutter was
frightened of his wife when she was angry. So he said, "Every evening the king of the mice gives me a
piece of gold from under the roots of the tree." "Oh; you are stupid!" his wife said. "You've been tricked by
a mouse. He gives you one piece of gold every evening but the rest of the gold is under the tree all the
time! Why don't you cut down the tree and take it all away?”The woodcutter did as he was told. He cut
down the tree. But when he looked under the roots, the gold was not there. The king of the mice had run
away That night, the king of the mice crept up to the woodcutter's house and took back all the gold. So
the woodcutter was as poor as before.
