Pada akhir Fase F, peserta didik menggunakan teks lisan, tulisan dan visual dalam bahasa Inggris untuk berkomunikasi sesuai
dengan situasi, tujuan, dan pemirsa/ pembacanya. Berbagai jenis teks seperti naratif, eksposisi, diskusi, teks sastra, teks otentik
maupun multiteks menjadi rujukan utama dalam mempelajari bahasa inggris pada fase ini. Peserta didik menggunakan
kemampuan bahasa Inggris untuk mengeksplorasi teks naratif, eksposisi, dan diskusi dalam berbagai macam topik termasuk isu
sosial dan konteks budaya. Pada fase ini, bukan hanya kemampuan berbahasa peserta didik yang semakin berkembang, tetapi
juga kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, komunikatif, kolaboratif, dan percaya diri demi terwujudnya Profil Pelajar Pancasila

Peserta didik reguler/tipikal: umum, tidak ada kesulitan dalam mencerna dan memahami materi ajar.
Peserta didik dengan kesulitan belajar: memiliki gaya belajar yang terbatas hanya satu gaya misalnya dengan audio. Memiliki
kesulitan dengan Bahasa dan pemahaman materi ajar, kurang percaya diri, kesulitan berkonsentrasi jangka panjang, dsb.
Peserta didik dengan pencapaian tinggi: mencerna dan memahami dengan cepat, mampu mencapai keterampilan berfikir aras
tinggi (HOTS), dan memiliki keterampilan memimpin.

KOMPONEN INTI

A. Tujuan Pembelajaran
Setelah mempelajari materi dalam modul kegiatan pembelajaran 1, siswa diharapkan mampu membedakan dan menggunakan fungsi
sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan rosedure text serta mampu membuat procedure text. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran 1 ini,
siswa akan dikenalkan pada conoh prosedur teks yang disajikan dalam bentuk tulis pada kegiatan membaca. Sebelum masuk ke
kedua kegiatan tersebut, siswa akan diberikan pengertian, struktur dan ciri kebahahasaan dari prosedur text sehingga siswa akan
lebih mudah memahaminya.

Setelah pembelajaran, peserta didik mengetahui:

2. Membedakan fungsi sosial, strukttur teks dam unsur kebahasaan dari prosedur teks

Definition of Procedure Text


There are three definition about procedure text : (1) Texts that explain how something works or how to use instruction / operation
manuals, e.g. how to use the video, the computer, the tape recorder, the photocopier, the fax. (2) Texts that instruct how to do a
particular activity, e.g. recipes, rules for games, science experiments, road safety rules. (3) Texts that deal with human behavior, e.g.
how to live happily, how to succeed

Generic Structure of Procedure Text


# Goal : (e.g. : How to make spaghetti)
# Material or Ingredient : (e.g. : the material to cook omelette are egg, onion, vegetable oil, etc. )
# Step : (e.g. : first, wash the tomatoes, onion, …., second cut the onions becomes slice ….)

Purpose of Procedure Text


– To explain / tell (the reader) how to make / operate / do something through a sequence of actions or steps.
– To explain steps / instruction to make / operate / do something

Language Feature of Procedure Text


– Use adverbial of sequence / Using temporal conjunction (e.g. : first, second, third, the last)
– Use command / imperative sentence (e.g. : put the noodles on the …., cut the onion …, wash the tomatoes ….,)
– Using adverbials (Adverbs) to express detail the time, place, manner accurate, for example, for five minutes, 2 hours, etc.
– Using action verbs, e.g. : make, take, boil, cook
– Using Simple Present Tense

How to Make a Classic Turkey Sandwich

Ingredients:

Sliced meat turkey


Sliced bread
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ingredients, Gather all the ingredients on a clean and spacious countertop.

2. Lay out the bread, Take two slices of bread and lay them out on the counter or a clean plate.

3. Spread mayonnaise, using a butter knife, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.

4. Add mustard, If you like mustard, spread a small amount on one side of one of the bread slices.

5. Layer the meat, Place several slices of meat on the side of the bread with the mayonnaise.

6. Add vegetables, Place lettuce leaves and tomato slices on top of the meat.

7. Seasoning with salt and pepper, Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the vegetables to taste.

8. Top with the second slice, Place the second slice of bread, with the mustard side down, on top of the vegetables.

9. Press and cut, gently press the sandwich together. Use a sharp knife to cut the sandwich diagonally, creating two
triangular halves.

10. Serve, Your classic turkey sandwich is now ready to be enjoyed! Serve it immediately and you can pair it with your
favorite side dishes.

How to Use a Blender

Materials needed:

Blender
Ingredients for your recipe
Instructions:

1. Assemble the blender, Ensure that the blender jar is properly placed on the base, and the lid is securely closed.

2. Plug in the blender, Connect the blender to a power source and make sure it's properly plugged in.

3. Add ingredients, Place the ingredients you want to blend into the blender jar. Be sure not to exceed the maximum fill line.

4. Secure the lid, Double-check that the lid is tightly secured to prevent any spills or splatters.

5. Select speed and mode, Depending on your recipe, choose the appropriate speed and blending mode on the blender control panel.

6. Start blending, Press the power button to start the blender. Hold it down until you achieve the desired consistency.

7. Monitor the blend, Keep an eye on the ingredients while blending to ensure they are evenly mixed.

8. Stop and unplug, once the blending is complete, turn off the blender by pressing the power button. Unplug it from the power source.

9. Pour and serve, carefully remove the blender jar from the base, open the lid, and pour the blended mixture into your desired container.

How to Operate a Coffee Machine

Materials needed:

Coffee machine
Fresh coffee grounds
Water
Instructions:

1. Check water reservoir, Ensure that the water reservoir is filled with clean water. The water level should be within the
marked range.

2. Insert coffee filter, Open the compartment for the coffee filter. Place a paper filter and add the desired amount of
coffee grounds.

3. Close and secure, close the coffee filter compartment securely, ensuring that it's properly locked in place.

4. Power on the machine, Plug in the coffee machine and turn on the power switch. Wait for it to warm up.

5. Select brew strength, Depending on your preference, select the brew strength setting. Most machines have options
for regular or strong coffee.

6. Press brew button, once the machine is ready, press the brew button to start the coffee-making process.

7. Wait for brewing, allow the machine to complete the brewing process. You'll hear a signal when the coffee is ready.

8. Pour and enjoy, carefully open the coffee pot compartment, and pour the freshly brewed coffee into your mug.

9. Turn off and clean, Turn off the coffee machine, unplug it, and clean the coffee filter and pot according to the
manufacturer's instructions.

10. Empty water reservoir, after use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir to keep the machine fresh for the
next use.

How to Make Bread


Ingredients
• 500 grams of bread flour
• 10 grams of instant yeast
• 10 grams of salt
• 300 milliliters of warm water
• 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional)
Equipment
• Mixing bowl
• Measuring cups and spoons
• Wooden spoon or dough mixer
• Clean kitchen towel
• Loaf pan
• Oven
Steps
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, instant yeast, and salt. If desired, add the sugar for a slightly sweeter
taste.
2. Gradually add warm water to the dry ingredients. Stir the mixture using a wooden spoon or dough mixer until a
sticky dough forms.
3. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead it for about 10 minutes. Use the heels of your hands to
push the dough away from you, then fold it back over itself. Repeat this motion until the dough becomes smooth
and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Allow it to rise in a warm place for
approximately 1 to 2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
5. Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release any air bubbles that may have formed. Transfer it back to
the floured surface and knead it briefly.
6. Shape the dough into a loaf by rolling it tightly from one end to the other. Place the shaped dough into a
greased loaf pan.
7. Cover the loaf pan with the kitchen towel and let the dough rise for another 30 to 45 minutes, or until it has
risen above the edges of the pan.
8. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) while the dough is rising.
9. Once the dough has risen again, remove the towel and place the loaf pan in the preheated oven. Bake for
approximately 30 to 40 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the
bottom.
10. Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, transfer the bread to
a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.

How to Make Salad

Ingredients
• Lettuce or mixed greens
• Assorted vegetables (e.g., tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, bell peppers)
• Protein of your choice (e.g., grilled chicken, boiled eggs, tofu)
• Dressing (e.g., vinaigrette, ranch, Caesar)
Equipment
• Cutting board
• Knife
• Mixing bowl
• Salad tongs or forks
Steps
1. Wash and prepare the vegetables. Start by rinsing the lettuce or mixed greens thoroughly under cold water. Pat them dry
using a clean kitchen towel or salad spinner. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.
2. Cut the vegetables into desired shapes and sizes. Dice the tomatoes, slice the cucumbers, julienne the carrots, and chop the
bell peppers. Add these vegetables to the mixing bowl with the lettuce.
3. Prepare the protein. If using grilled chicken, make sure it is cooked and sliced into strips. If using boiled eggs, peel them and
cut them into halves or quarters. If using tofu, drain it and cut it into cubes. Add the protein to the mixing bowl.
4. Toss the salad gently using salad tongs or forks. Make sure all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
5. Add the dressing. Pour a desired amount of dressing over the salad. Start with a small amount and add more if needed. Toss
the salad again to coat the ingredients with the dressing.
6. Taste and adjust the seasoning. If necessary, sprinkle some salt and pepper over the salad to enhance the flavors. Give it a
final toss to incorporate the seasonings.
7. Transfer the salad to serving plates or bowls. Garnish with additional toppings like croutons, grated cheese, or chopped
herbs, if desired.
8. Serve the salad immediately as a refreshing and nutritious dish.
