brevis

Adductor brevis adalah otot di paha yang

terletak tepat di dalam pectineus dan
adductor longus . Itu milik kelompok otot
adduktor . Fungsi utama adduktor brevis
adalah menarik paha ke arah medial . [1]
Otot adduktor brevis dan kelompok otot
adduktor lainnya juga digunakan untuk
menstabilkan gerakan batang tubuh dari
kiri ke kanan , saat berdiri dengan kedua
kaki, atau untuk menyeimbangkan saat
berdiri di permukaan yang bergerak.
Kelompok otot adduktor digunakan untuk
menekan kedua paha saat menunggang
kuda, dan menendang dengan bagian
dalam kaki saat bermain sepak bola atau
berenang. Terakhir, mereka berkontribusi
pada fleksi paha saat berlari atau
melawan resistensi (jongkok, melompat,

Struktur

Bentuknya agak segitiga, dan muncul

dari asal sempit dari permukaan luar
badan pubis dan ramus inferior pubis ,
antara gracilis dan obturator externus .

Otot Adductor brevis melebar secara

segitiga untuk dimasukkan ke bagian
atas linea aspera tepat di lateral
penyisipan pectineus dan di atas
adduktor longus.

Hubungan

By its anterior surface, the adductor

brevis is in relation with the pectineus,
adductor longus, and anterior branches
of the obturator artery, the obturator vein,
and the obturator nerve.
By its posterior surface with the adductor
magnus and the posterior branches of
the obturator artery, the obturator vein,
and the obturator nerve.

By its outer border with the obturator

externus, and the iliopsoas. By its inner
border with the gracilis and adductor
magnus.

It is pierced near its insertion by the

middle perforating artery.[3]

Innervation

The adductor brevis is innervated dually

by the anterior and posterior branches of
the obturator nerve.[4]
Fungsi

The muscle is primarily known as a hip

adductor. It also functions as a hip flexor.
Whether it acts to rotate the femur
laterally or medially is dependent on
position.
