Tujuannya adalah manajemen cairan dini yang adekuat, keseimbangan cairan harus positif, dan
mencapai target resusitasi

untuk mempertahankan keseimbangan cairan netral

Fase ini berkembang selama beberapa hari ke depan dan cairan diperlukan hanya untuk
pemeliharaan dan penggantian kehilangan cairan normal untuk mendukung fungsi organ
Tahap ini dilakukan dengan pemantauan berat badan harian, keseimbangan cairan, dan fungsi
organ.

Setelah tiga tahap pertama (‘ROS’), dua hal dapat terjadi: pasien akan pulih dan memasuki fase flow secara
spontan dengan evakuasi kelebihan cairan yang telah diberikan sebelumnya.
Pemberian cairan lebih lanjut pada tahap ini menjadi berbahaya. Fase ini membutuhkan pengeluaran cairan
secara aktif dari pasien selama beberapa hari hingga berminggu-minggu untuk menyokong pemulihan organ.
Tujuan utama pemberian cairan selama fase resusitasi adalah untuk memperbaiki hipotensi
sistemik dengan cepat. Selama fase optimasi, tujuan pemberian cairan adalah untuk
meningkatkan pengiriman oksigen ke jaringan. Pada fase stabilisasi pasien secara hemodinamik
stabil dan pemberian cairan harus dibatasi. Dalam intervensi fase evakuasi ditargetkan pada
penghapusan cairan.
