Definisi Antibiotik profilaksis
Antibiotik yang diberikan sebelum, saat, dan setelah
prosedur operasi paling lama 24 jam pada kasus.

Tujuan
Untuk mencegah komplikasi infeksi atau IDO

Indikasi

Digunakan pada prosedur operasi bersih

dan bersih tekontaminasi.1 Pada operasi
bersih yang tidak melibatkan rongga tubuh
tidak perlu pemberian antiobiotik profilaksi
(missal Fibroadenoma mammae, struma,
tumor jaringan lunak, sirkumsisi, eksisi tumor
jinak kulit kecil, insisi dan drainasi abses,
jahit luka, ekstraksi kuku)

Pilihan antibiotic profilaksis

Golongan sefalosforin generasi pertama yaitu
1. Lampiran kelas operasi dan antibiotik sefazolin 2 gr
