PENDAHULUAN
 Latar Belakang
Salah satu subsektor yang bergerak dibidang pertanian adalah subsektor
hortikultura. Produk hortikultura sangat berpotensi di pasar dan perlu adanya
pengembangan, terutama komoditas buah-buahan

Kabupaten Sidoarjo merupakan kabupaten yang memiliki peluang sangat besar

terhadap agrowisata petik buah jambu kristal. Miracle Kurnia Farm merupaka satu-
satunya tempat pengembangan agrowisata jambu kristal di wilayah kecamatan Taman,
kabupaten Sidoarjo.

 Pengertian Hortikultura

teknologi dalam mengelola tanaman sayuran,
buah, ornamen, bumbu-bumbu dan tanaman
obat obatan

Hortikultura berperan sebagai sumber gizi masyarakat, penyedia
lapangan pekerjaan, dan penunjang kegiatan agrowisata dan
agroindustri. Ditinjau dari proses waktu produksi, musim tanam
yang pendek memungkinkan perputaran modal semakin cepat
dan dapat meminimalkan ketidakpastian karena faktor alam

Terdapat beberapa jenis tanaman hortikultura diantaranya

adalah tanaman sayur (olerikultura), tanaman buah (frutikultura),
tanaman hias (florikultura), tanaman obat (biofarmaka).

pada pukul 15.00 – 17.00 WIB.
Praktikum dilaksanan di Miracle Kurnia
Farm Sambi Bulu Kabupaten Sidoarjo.
Pelaksanaan Praktikum
● Praktikum dilaksanakan dengan menyiapkan
kuesioner sebelum mengidentifikasi mitra
● Mengunjungi mitra usahatani Miracle Kurnia Farm
● Mengidentifikasi klasifikasi meliputi : potensi
tanaman, subsistem, dan analisis kelayakan dalam
usahatani salah satu komoditi frutikultura yang
diambil oleh kelompok kami, yaitu jambu kristal
● Hasil identifikasi didiskusikan Bersama untuk
membuat laporan praktikum
● Mengambil dokumentasi sebagai bukti kunjungan
dengan menggunakan kamera Handpone.
