 Pengertian Mangan
￮ Mangan adalah unsur ikatan logam perak dengan simbol bahan
kimia Mn dan nomor atom 25, artinya terdapat 25 proton pada intinya. Mangan
termasuk dalam bagian logam transisi pada tabel periodik. Mangan dapat
memiliki bilangan oksidasi antara +2 hingga +7,
￮ Bijih mangan yang paling penting adalah pirolusit (MnO 2).
￮ Mangan menyusun sekitar 1000 ppm (0,1%) kerak Bumi,
menjadi unsur kerak Bumi yang paling melimpah ke-12. [4] Tanah mengandung
7–9000 ppm mangan dengan rata-rata 440 ppm.[4] Atmosfer mengandung
0,01 μg/m3.[4] Mangan terjadi terutama
￮ Bijih mangan yang paling penting adalah pirolusit (MnO 2).

 Sifat fisik Mangan
￮ Warna: Mangan adalah logam putih keperakan yang dapat
mengkilap.
￮ Kepadatan: Kepadatan mangan adalah sekitar 7.21 gram per
sentimeter kubik (g/cm³).
￮ Titik lebur: Mangan memiliki titik lebur sekitar 1.244 derajat Celsius
(2.271 derajat Fahrenheit).
￮ Kekerasan: Mangan adalah logam yang cukup keras dan kuat.
Namun, kekerasannya dapat bervariasi tergantung pada bentuk dan
padatan spesifiknya

SIFAT KIMIA MANGAN
￮ Oksidasi: Mangan dapat mengalami berbagai tingkat oksidasi,
menghasilkan berbagai senyawa mangan yang berbeda, termasuk mangan
dioksida (MnO2) dan mangan heptoksida (Mn2O7).
￮ Kemampuan pembentukan paduan: Mangan digunakan dalam
pembuatan paduan logam, terutama dalam paduan baja. Penambahan
mangan ke baja dapat meningkatkan kekuatan dan ketahanan korosi baja.
￮ Kemampuan membentuk senyawa: Mangan dapat membentuk berbagai
senyawa dengan elemen-elemen lain, seperti mangan sulfida (MnS),
mangan klorida (MnCl2), dan mangan karbonat (MnCO3).
￮ Kemampuan mengoksidasi dan reduksi: Mangan memiliki beberapa
tingkat oksidasi yang memungkinkannya berperan dalam proses redoks
sebagai agen oksidasi atau reduksi.

 Komposisi mangan
￮ Beberapa senyawa mangan yang umum termasuk oksida mangan (seperti
mangan dioksida, MnO2), mangan sulfida (MnS), mangan karbonat (MnCO3), dan
mangan klorida (MnCl2).
￮ Namun, komposisi mangan dalam senyawa yang berbeda akan berbeda
pula. Penting untuk diingat bahwa mangan sendiri adalah unsur kimia dan memiliki
nomor atom 25, sehingga dalam bentuk murni, itu terdiri dari atom mangan tunggal.

 Sumber dari mangan
￮ Mangan yang tersingkap di daerah Cileutak, Kecamatan
Simpenan, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Provinsi Jawa Barat ini ditemukan hanya
setempat-setempat. Singkapan mangan ini ditemukan dalam bentuk
pengisian rekahan, pergantian matriks batuan serta dalam bentuk fragmen
mangan di lapangan. Singkapan mangan ini berasosiasi dengan batuan
vulkanik yang terdiri dari batuan andesit hingga andesit basaltik yang
disebut sebagai batuan induk, dimana batuan tersebut menjadi sumber
pengkayaan mangan pada daerah penelitian. Secara geokimia batuan induk
pembawa endapan mangan ini berasal dari seri magma yang berafinitas
calc-alkali yang berasosiasi dengan zona subduksi tepatnya di busur
kepulauan (island arc).

 APLIKASI MANGAN
￮ Mangan memiliki banyak aplikasi
industri, terutama dalam produksi baja, dan juga Mangan kawat tembaga
digunakan dalam berbagai senyawa kimia,
keramik, baterai, dan lain-lain. Sifat fisik dan
kimia mangan membuatnya menjadi unsur yang
penting dalam berbagai bidang.

Pengertian perak
Perak merupakan unsur logam yang memiliki nomor atom 47
￮ dan massa atom 107,8682 g/mol. Perak memiliki empat
jenis keadaan oksidasi, yaitu Ag0 dan Ag+1 yang melimpah di
alam, serta Ag+2 dan Ag+3 yang jarang ditemukan karena
cenderung tidak stabil, terutama dalam lingkungan air. Logam
ini termasuk jenis logam yang sangat mudah ditempa, tahan
terhadap korosi, serta memiliki daya hantar listrik dan panas
yang tinggi, bahkan daya hantar listriknya paling tinggi di antara
semua logam, serta memiliki nilai hambatan yang sangat kecil

Sifat Perak
Perak adalah logam mulia yang terkenal karena kilauannya dan
sifat-sifatnya yang tahan terhadap korosi. Itu digunakan dalam berbagai aplikasi,
termasuk perhiasan, alat musik, perangko, peralatan makan, dan banyak lagi
karena kemampuannya untuk menjaga kilau dan kilapnya serta ketahanannya
terhadap korosi.

 SIFAT KIMIA PERAK
￮ Ketahanan terhadap korosi: Salah satu sifat paling menonjol dari perak adalah
ketahanan terhadap korosi. Perak hampir tidak bereaksi dengan oksigen atau
kelembaban di udara, sehingga tidak mudah berkarat.
￮ Konduktivitas listrik dan termal: Perak adalah konduktor listrik dan termal yang
sangat baik. Ini digunakan dalam berbagai aplikasi elektronik dan industri,
termasuk pembuatan kabel listrik, kontak listrik, dan cermin termal.
￮ Reaktivitas terhadap asam: Perak relatif inert terhadap asam klorida dan asam
sulfat, tetapi akan bereaksi dengan asam nitrat.
￮ Peleburan dan pemadatan: Perak dapat dilebur dan dicetak menjadi berbagai
bentuk dengan relatif mudah, sehingga sangat cocok untuk pembuatan perhiasan,

 SUMBER PERAK
￮ Sumber utama perak adalah bijih perak, yang mengandung perak dalam bentuk senyawa kimia
seperti argentit (Ag2S), hornesit (AgCl), dan berbagai senyawa sulfida dan klorida perak lainnya. Beberapa
tambang perak terkemuka termasuk Tambang Perak Fresnillo di Meksiko dan Tambang Perak Cannington di
Australia.
￮ Perak sering ditemukan sebagai "produk sampingan" dalam tambang bijih emas, tembaga, dan
seng. Bijih-bijih ini dapat mengandung perak sebagai mineral tambahan yang diekstraksi selama proses
pemisahan logam.
￮ Perak juga ditemukan dalam deposit sedimen marjinal di dasar laut, sering kali dalam bentuk
