SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE

Simple Future Tense adalah suatu bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk menyatakan
bahwa suatu aksi terjadi di massa depan, secara spontan atau terencana.
Pola Kalimat (Verbal)
Kalimat verbal adalah kalimat yang berpredikat kata kerja.
(+) S + will/shall + Verb-1 + O
(-) S + will/shall + not + Verb-1 + O
(?) Will+Shall + S + Verb-1 + O ?
(QW) QW+Will/shall+S+Verb-1?
Catatan : kata bantu will dipakai untuk semua subyek dan shall hanya untuk I dan WE.
Contoh pemakaian dalam kalimat :
(+) He will/shall go to the theater tonight.
(-) He will not (wont) eat pizza tomorrow.
(?) Will they attend the school reunion next week?
Yes, they will / No, they wont.
(QW) When will she go to Paris?

(+) S + will/shall + be + Complement
(-) S + will/shall + not + be + Complement
(?) Will/Shall + S + be + Complement?
(QW) QW + Will/shall + S + be + non verb + object?
Contoh pemakaian dalam kalimat :
(+) Mary will be angry to you.
(-) The client wont be satisfied.
(?) Will Rudy be absent next week?
Yes, He will / No, He wont.
(QW) When will he be in Las Vegas?

Kegunaan :
1. Digunakan untuk menyatakan peristiwa yang akan terjadi pada waktu yang akan
datang.
Contoh :
Aldo will drive home next week.
I wont live in a big city.
Sonya will watch a concert next Saturday.
2. Digunakan dalam conditional sentence (kalimat bersyarat) tipe pertama.
Contoh :
If she does the duty on time, she will get a reward.
He will get angry if he often makes mistakes.
3. Digunakan untuk menyatakan permintaan (request) dan tawaran (offering)
Contoh :
Will you drive me home now?
Shall I turn on the air conditioning for you?

Pola penggunaan kata tanya dalam kalimat :

a.

Untuk menanyakan posisi subyek.

Q.W + will/shall + Verb-1 + O?

b.

Untuk menanyakan selain posisi subyek.

Q.W + will/shall + S + Verb-1?

Thousands people will protest a new policy in the president palace next Tuesday.
