A. RESUME
Popolasi : Seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTSN Model Makassar yang terdiri
dari strata kelas VIII-1, VIII-2 hingga VIII-10.
B. KOMENTAR
Judul penelitiannya adalah meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran
matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think
pair share (TPS) pada siswa kelas viii mtsn model makassar. Berdasarkan
judulnya penelitian ini sudah tepat menggunakan penelitian tindakan
kelas (classroom action research) sebab penelitian tindakan kelas adalah
penelitian praktis yang dimaksudkan untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran di
kelas. Penelitian ini merupakan salah satu upaya guru atau praktisi dalam
bentuk berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk memperbaiki dan atau
meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini juga termasuk
penelitian deskriptif sebab menggambarkan bagaimana suatu teknik
pembelajaran diterapkan dan bagaimana hasil yang diinginkan dapat
dicapai.
B. COMMENTS
Title of research is to improve the quality of learning mathematics through the
implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) in class viii MTsN
Makassar models. Based on this research title is appropriate use of classroom action research
(classroom action research) because action research is a practical research intended to
improve learning in the classroom. This study is one of the efforts of teachers or practitioners
in the form of various activities undertaken to repair or improve the quality of learning in the
classroom. The study also includes a descriptive research because it illustrates how a learning
technique is applied and how the desired results can be achieved.
Researchers used two cycles in research, it is in conformity with the characteristics of action
research in the classroom. In PTK no term cycles that are characteristic that distinguishes it
from other types of research. Therefore, the cycle must be implemented correctly. The cycle
is essentially a series of "research-action-research-action-..." that is not in regular research
(non PTK). In the study there is only one non PTK research and the action then concluded. In
PTK results have not been good cycle should be repeated until successful. iklus consists of
(1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection and re-planning.
Described in the cycle is only part altered or modified by PTK, not the entire learning
process.
In the data collection techniques researchers did not collect data before the administration of
the action. Supposedly the early stages of data collection is dulling the student learning
outcomes data before it is given the actions such as providing test questions before the
changes to the cooperative learning model Think Pair share. It aims to compare student
learning outcomes before and after given action whether there is progress or not.
