Pengertian Correlative Conjunction
Correlative conjunction adalah conjunction (kata hubung) yang digunakan berpasangan untuk
menunjukkan hubungan antara dua kata, frasa (phrase), atau klausa (clause). Elemen kalimat
yang dihubungkan biasanya bersifat paralel (kedudukannya sejajar) secara struktur gramatikal.
Kata hubung ini disebut juga paired conjunction.

Scarcely (adverb) di depan kalimat pada inverted word order sih Rizki. Pada word
order normal, scarcely biasanya setelah main verb “be”, sebelum main verb (biasa
/ bukan “be”), atau setelah auxiliary verb .
I was scarcely able to move my arm after the accident. (setelah main verb “was”)
…
I scarcely heard him laugh all night. (sebelum main verb “heard”)
The city centre has scarcely changed in over a century. (setelah auxiliary verb

Menurut cambridge, either (or)
used when referring to a choice between two possibilities…
We can either eat now or after the show – it’s up to you.

sedangkan whether (or)
(used to introduce two or more possibilities) it is not important if:
I’m going, whether she likes it or not.
Someone has to tell her, whether it’s you or me.

Dari situ saya lihat either dan whether sama-sama membicarkan two possibilities
tapi either lebih netral sedangkan whether ada penekanan it is not important if.
Mungkin kamu bisa cek sumber lainnya, siapa tau ada yang menyatakan
interchangeable.

boleh saya tahu materi correlative conjunction yang tertera di atas di ambil dari buku
 apa…??
soalnya yang saya tahu ,(correlative conjunction)bentuknya yang berbentuk berpasangan
anggottanya ada 4:(both…and…),(not only….but olso….),(either…or….)and neither
….nor)
tolong penjelasannya ya gan…..!!

Aganwati aja hehe.
Mohon maaf sebenarnya kalo buku saya lupa, tapi sebagian dari list itu saya temui
juga waktu TOEFL ITP ITB. Mungkin oneday bs sy tambahkan juga dari
Chambridge, Longman, dsb. Sebenarnya sumber dari no. 1 itu bisa dipercaya
karena dari educational site. Begitu juga no. 2 dari University of Ottawa.
Menurut sumber no. 1, the common correlative conjunctions itu: both…and, not
only…but also, not…but, either…or, neither…nor, whether…or, as…as.
Sedangkan sumber no. 2 (University of Ottawa): both…and, either…or, neither…
nor, not only…but also, so…as, whether…or.
Jadi yang kamu sebutkan bagian dari the most common-nya. Mungkin kalo kamu
lagi test TOEFL dsb kamu bakal sering2 ketemu mereka.
