ABSTRAK

Masih rendahnya pengetahuan tentang kanker serviks membuat pelaksanaan

Test IVA belum optimal sehingga perlunya pendidikan kesehatan melalui penyuluhan.
agar PUS memahami tentang penyakit kanker serviks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui efektifitas pendidikan kesehatan IVA terhadap pengetahuan ibu PUS
tentang kanker serviks diwilayah Puskesmas Pembantu Kinawai Tahun 2019. Desain
penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment) dengan rancangan pre-post
test dalam satu kelompok (One-Group Pretest-posttest Design) terhadap seluruh ibu
PUS yang ada di diwilayah Puskesmas Pembantu Kinawai sebanyak 33 orang.
Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan dianalisa dengan uji Wilcoxon. Dari
hasil analisa univariat diketahui rerata pengetahuan sebelum perlakuan adalah 19,30 dan
setelah dilakukan perlakuan 22,55. Hasil analisa bivariat diketahui ada pengaruh
pendidikan kesehatan IVA terhadap pengetahuan Ibu PUS sebelum dan sesudah
perlakuan dengan p = 0,0005. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan
terdapat efektifitas pendidikan kesehatan IVA terhadap pengetahuan ibu PUS tentang
kanker serviks di wilayah Puskesmas Pembantu Kinawai Tahun 2019. Saran bagi pihak
Puskesmas agar meningkatkan upaya penyuluhan tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan IVA.

ABSTRACT

Still low knowledge about cervical cancer make the implementation of the Test
IVA is not optimal so that the need for health education through extension so PUS
understand about cervical cancer. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of
health education IVA against the knowledge of mothers PUS about cervical cancer in
inarea of health center Vice Kinawai the Year 2019. This research design is Quasi
Experiment with the design of One-Group Pretest-posttest Design on the whole mother
PUS in area of health center Vice Kinawai as many as 33 people. The instrument used
was a questionnaire and analyzed with the Wilcoxon test. From the results of the
univariate analysis known to the average knowledge before the treatment is to 19.30
and after treatment 22,55. The results of the bivariate analysis are known to exist the
effect of health education IVA against the knowledge of mother PUS before and after
treatment with p = 0,0005. Based on the results of this research can be concluded there
is the effectiveness of health education IVA against the knowledge of mothers PUS
about cervical cancer in area of health region Vice Kinawai the Year 2019. Suggestions
for the health center to improve the efforts of counseling about the importance of the
IVA inspection.
