“Dan janganlah kamu membuat kerusakan di muka bumi, sesudah (Allah)
memperbaikinya dan berdoalah kepada-Nya dengan rasa takut (tidak akan
diterima) dan harapan (akan dikabulkan). Sesungguhnya rahmat Allah amat dekat
kepada orang-orang yang berbuat baik.” (QS. Al-A’raf: 56)
Pada ayat ini dijelaskan bahwa Allah melarang manusia untuk melakukan
perbuatan yang akan merusak lingkungan dan membahayakan kelestariannya.
Lafadz ُتْفِس ُدواberasal dari kata fasad/ifsad yang berarti ‘keluarnya sesuatu dari

yang dibuat sebanyak 72 unit percobaan. Perlakuan dan ulangan dalam percobaan
dapat dilihat pada Tabel 1.

(Gambar 8). Jika dibandingkan dengan kontrol (4,1%), nilai persentase degradasi
CC2-2F lebih tinggi. Hasil analisis uji T memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat
pengaruh (P < 0,05) perlakuan CC2-2F terhadap persentase degradasi
mikroplastik polypropylene (Lampiran 9).

Berdasarkan Gambar 6 & 7 dapat terlihat bahwa fungi CY3-4FPE (I)
(5,7%) dan CC2-2F (7,3%) masing-masing menunjukkan adanya potensi dalam
mendegradasi mikroplastik polypropylene setelah 56 hari inkubasi. Berkurangnya
berat mikroplastik oleh kedua fungi merupakan hasil penggunaan polypropylene
sebagai sumber nutrisi fungi. Mereka mensekresikan enzim ekstraseluler yang
dapat mencerna mikroplastik yang berada di luar sel. Enzim tersebut
menyebabkan terjadinya pemotongan ikatan molekul yang panjang menjadi lebih
pendek (monomer, dimer, dan oligomer). Molekul-molekul pendek tersebut
kemudian masuk ke dalam jalur metabolisme fungi yang akan menghasilkan air
(H2O) dan karbon dioksida (CO2) (Rana et al., 2022). Proses degradasi ini
mengakibatkan terjadinya kerusakan pada permukaan plastik, seperti terbentuknya
lubang dan terputusnya untaian benang polypropylene (Gambar 8).

sebanyak 8,5% setelah 60 hari. Hal ini dikarenakan terdapat partikel asing yang
menempel pada permukaan plastik. Selain itu, pada permukaan plastik tidak
ditemukan adanya retakan atau sobekan saat diperiksa menggunakan SEM pada
perbesaran 3000×.

Pengukuran nilai pH tanah juga dilakukan pada mikroplastik
polypropylene dengan perlakuan CY3-4F PE (I) dan CC2-2F. Nilai penurunan pH
tanah pada mikroplastik polypropylene perlakuan CY3-4F PE (I) tidak mengalami
peningkatan secara berturut-turut (Gambar 12). Persentase penurunan pH tanah
mengalami peningkatan pada hari ke-14 sampai 42. Nilai persentase pada hari ke-
56 (23,5%) lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan hari ke-42 (28,3%). Pada
kontrol juga terdapat peningkatan persentase penurunan pH tanah dengan pola
peningkatan yang sama. Namun, secara keseluruhan persentase penurunan pH
tanah dengan perlakuan fungi CY3-4F PE (I) lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan
dengan kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji T diketahui terdapat pengaruh yang nyata
(P < 0,05) oleh fungi CY3-4F PE (I) terhadap persentase penurunan pH tanah
pada mikroplastik polyethylene (Lampiran 10).

Pola peningkatan yang sama juga ditunjukkan pada persentase penurunan
pH tanah dengan perlakuan CC2-2F (Gambar 13). Persentase penurunan pH
mengalami peningkatan pada hari ke-14 sampai 42. Namun, sama seperti pada
perlakuan fungi CY3-4F PE (I), nilai persentase pada hari ke-56 (26,6%) lebih
kecil dari hari ke-42 (29,0%). Nilai persentase penurunan pH perlakuan fungi
CC2-2F lebih tinggi dibanding kontrol. Hasil uji T memperlihatkan adanya
perbedaan yang nyata (P < 0,05) pada kedua perlakuan (Lampiran 10).

5.1. Kesimpulan
Isolat fungi CY3-4F PE (I) asal TPA Cipayung dapat mendegradasi
mikroplastik polyethylene sebesar 1,67±0,21% dan mikroplastik polypropylene
sebesar 5,95±1,18% di dalam tanah, sedangkan persentase degradasi isolat CC2-
2F asal TPA Cipeucang pada mikroplastik polyethylene sebesar 2,38±0,98% serta
pada polypropylene sebesar 6,67±0,34% yang diinkubasi selama 56 hari di dalam
tanah. Hal tersebut ditunjang dengan adanya penurunan pH tanah dan kerusakan
penampilan mikroskopis kedua mikroplastik yang dilihat dengan mikroskop pada
perbesaran 100×. Berdasarkan hasil uji biodegradasi, isolat CC2-2F menghasilkan
persentase degradasi mikroplastik lebih tinggi dari isolat CY3-4F PE (I).
5.2. Saran
Perlu dilakukan pengujian lebih lanjut pada tanah yang tidak disterilisasi
untuk mengetahui kemampuan CC2-2F dan CY3-4F PE (I) dalam mendegradasi
mikroplastik pada skala lapangan. Perlu dilakukan penelitian terhadap jenis
mikroplastik lain untuk mengetahui kemampuan isolat CC2-2F dan CY3-4F PE
(I) dalam mendegradasi berbagai jenis mikroplastik.
