One of the growing Islamic education in society is Madrasah education.
Deiring with the development of the time when religious education is increasingly
becoming the attention needed by the Indonesian people who are Muslim, so that
the implementation of Madrasah Diniyah is legally regulated in the Indonesian
republican legislation system. The first precept which mentions the Almighty
Godhead means that religion is used as a guide as well as the balance of life for
the Indonesian nation.
This means that a religious institution such as Madrasah Diniyah is
recognized as a place for the mental and spiritual formation of the Indonesian
nation. The purpose of this research ; to find out and describe how the teacher's
strategy in developing reading Al-Quran for students of Madrasah Diniyah Nurul
Hamdi Kalianyar Tamanan Bondowoso. Specific objectives, 1) to identify and
describe the form of the Madrasah Diniyah teacher's strategy in developing the
reading of the Al-Quran for students of Nurul Hamdi Kalianyar Tamanan
Bondowoso, 2) to find out and describe the application of teachers in developing
reading of the Al-Quran for santri Nurul Hamdi Kalianyar Tamanan Bondowoso,
3) to find out and describe the results of the increased reading of the Al-Quran by
students of Nurul Hamdi Kalianyar Tamanan Bondowoso.
The research method used is a qualitative approach that produces naturalistic
data in the form of scientific explanations. Methods of data collection using
observation, interviews and documentation. While the method of analysis uses
descriptive qualitative and reflective thingking. While presenting the data by
drawing a conclusion.
The results showed that the strategy of the teacher using the wetonan and
sorogan through the Qiroati method could be said to be optimal because of the
many advances and improvements of students in reading the Al-Quran.
