A. Tujuan Pembelajaran

1. Siswa mampu mengamati fenomena alam yang berkaitan dengan listrik statis sebagai
solusinya melalui pengamatan dalam peristiwa sehari-hari.
2. Siswa mampu merancang percobaan listrik statis benda yang bermuatan listrik dengan
menggunakan alat dan bahan sederhana.
3. Siswa mampu menyimpulkan peristiwa listrik statis benda yang bermuatan listrik dalam
bentuk deskripsi pada lembar kerja siswa dengan benar.

B. Kegiatan

1. Mengamati Fenomena

Pernahkah kalian melihat benda yang tidak bermuatan listrik atau netral? Apakah benda
tersebut dapat diubah menjadi benda yang bermuatan listrik?

Kalian tentunya sudah tidak asing dengan peristiwa penggaris yang di gosokan di
rambut yang kering akan menarik kertas-kertas kecil yang dipotong-potong. Berbagai jenis
benda yang bermuatan netral dapat berubah menjadi benda bermuatan listrik seperti contohnya
penggaris, balon, dan sisir.
Peristiwa listrik statis dapat kita ketahui dari tanda-tandanya. Benda yang netral setelah
digosokan akan bermuatan negatif.
