KOMPETENSI DASAR
3.14 Menerapkan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis
yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pendapat dan pikiran, sesuai dengan
konteks penggunaannya. (Perhatikan unsur kebahasaan I think, I suppose, in my opinion)
4.14Menyusun teks interaksi transaksional, lisan dan tulis, pendek dan sederhana, yang melibatkan tindakan
memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pendapat dan pikiran, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur

 Membedakan ungkapan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pendapat dan pikiran sesuai dengan
konteks penggunaannya.
 Menentukan ungkapan yang digunakan dalam memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pendapat dan
pikiran sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.
 Menemukan ungkapan memberi dan meminta informasi yang tepat untuk interaksi transaksional lisan
dan tulis

 Menerapkan ungkapan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pendapat dan pikiran pada interaksi
transaksional lisan dan tulis sederhana
 Melengkapi informasi terkait pendapat dan pikiran dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial dan unsur
kebahasaan

B. PETUNJUK
1. Pelajari materi memberi dan meminta pendapat serta responnya serta kerjakan seluruh penugasan.
2. Diskusikan dengan temanmu atau tanyakan kepada guru yg mengampu mapel jika kurang jelas.
3. Penugasan A diserahkan pada minggu I tgl 04 Agustus 2020.
4. Penugasan B diserahkan pada minggu II tgl 11 Agustus 2020 .
5. Penugasan C diserahkan pada minggu III tgl 18 Agustus 2020 (sekaligus mengambil LKPD 2.)

ASKING & GIVING OPINION

What is opinion?

An opinion is the way you feel or think about something. Our opinion about something or someone is
based on our perspective. Whenever we give or express our opinion, it is important to give reasoning or
an example to support our opinion. Argument is a statement which consist of reason or reasons why you
support or oppose an idea or suggestion. You can use the words such as first,second, etc for arranging
argument.

 We may ask opinions by using some expression, for example:

- What do you think about … - How was the trip?


- What do you think of … -How do you like…?
Expressing of asking opinion - What is your opinion? -Do you agree that …
- Why do they behave like that?
- Do you think it’s going …
- How do you feel about this decision?
 Opinions can be expressed in two ways:

- In my opinion, …. - What I mean is …


- In my experince … - I reckon ….
- In my humble opinion … - I think …
- I would like to point out that … - As I see it …

- By this I mean.. - Personally, I think …..
- I am compelled to say …

 You can agree or disagree as long as you have reason for your opinion
 Some expression used to express agreement with an opinion, for example:
 Opinions can be expressed using mental verbs like believe, think, doubt, assume, feel, etc
