MATERIAL PENUTUP TANAH

 1. BIOPORI
• Biopori adalah salah satu elemen pembentuk arsitektur hijau pada tapak.
• Biopori berfungsi: (1) meningkatkan daya resapan air, kedua untuk
mengubah sampah organik menjadi kompos dan (2) mengurangi emisi gas
rumah kaca (CO2 dan
metan).
• Jenis air hujan jatuh ke tanah akan diserap langsung ke tanah melalui
biopori di dalam area hijau yang tidak mengalami perkerasan.

• Sumur resapan dan biopori memiliki peran penting

dalam menjaga kualitas air tanah di dalam tapak.
Green Architecture yang baik, menekan
pemborosan energi, pemborosan air
memanfaatkan penggunaan air hujan,
pemanfaatan air daur ulang, dengan upaya
memberikan area serapan yang cukup bagi air
hujan, bangunan yang dirancang dengan baik
biasanya menyediakan lubang-lubang
kompos/biopori agar tanah di sekelilingnya tidak
rusak, sehingga dapat mengurangi jumlah air
yang terbuang percuma.
• Salah satu manfaat dari biopori adalah untuk
mengatasi banjir dengan cara: Pertama untuk
meningkatkan daya resapan air, kedua untuk
mengubah sampah organik menjadi kompos dan
mengurangi emisi gas rumah kaca (CO2 dan
metan) (Rachmayanti & Roesli, 2014).
2. GRASS BLOCK
PAVERS
• Grassblock adalah salah satu elemen pembentuk
arsitektur hijau pada tapak.
• Grassblock merupakan: (1) bagian dari hardscape
yang berfungsi perkerasan dan sirkulasi (Prasetyo
et.al., 2019; (2) namun dapat meneruskan air ke
dalam tanah (Suparwoko & Dewi, 2015).
• Grassblock termasuk bagian dari hardscape yaitu
berupa perkerasan dan berfungsi sebagai sirkulasi.
• Konsep yang ditawarkan grassblock berupa
peningkatan kualitas air tanah yaitu dengan
meresapkan air hujan ke dalam tanah (water
absorbing)
