tinggi dan berat badan. Sedangkan mengalami perkembangan artinya adanya
peningkatan secara kualitatif yang meliputi meningkatnya kemampuan secara
psikis seperti bertambah pandai atau bertambahnya pengetahuan

Menurut Undang-undang tentang

Perlindungan terhadap Anak (UU RI Nomor
32 Tahun 2002) Bab I Pasal 1 dinyatakan
bahwa anak adalah seseorang yang belum
berusia 18 tahun dan termasuk anak yang
masih dalam kandungan.
Yuliani Sujiono (2014) menyatakan bahwa
anak usia dini adalah anak yang baru
dilahirkan hingga usia 6 tahun. Usia ini
merupakan usia yang sangat menentukan
bagi pembentukan karakter dan
kepribadian anak serta kemampuan
intelektualnya.

1. Perkembangan Fisik Siswa SD

Mencakup pertumbuhan biologis misalnya
pertumbuhan otak, otot dan tulang. Pada usia 10
tahun baik laki‐laki maupun perempuan tinggi dan
berat badannya bertambah kurang lebih 3,5 kg.
Namun setelah usia remaja yaitu 12 ‐13 tahun anak 2.Perkembangan Kognitif Siswa SD

dalam pembelajaran
