Deskripsi Untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran ini, kegiatan pembelajaran dibagi menjadi 4
umum pertemuan:
kegiatan 1. Pertemuan pertama, fokus kegiatan pembelajaran adalah mengemukakan ide dari descriptive
text yang disajikan dalam bentuk multimoda dalam lingkup keluarga dan kelas, eksplorasi
kosa kata terkait family members dan daily activities.
2. Pertemuan kedua, fokus kegiatan pembelajaran adalah memahami penggunaan simple
present tense.
3. Pertemuan ketiga, fokus kegiatan pembelajaran adalah memahami penggunaan possessive
adjective.
4. Pertemuan keempat, fokus kegiatan pembelajaran adalah membuat descriptive text tentang
family secara sederhana.

In this video we will learn how to talk about family. First let’s review the
vocabulary by looking at a family tree.
Hi, my name is Rick. Let me tell you about my family. I’m married. This is
my wife. I am husband. We have two children. One son and one daughter. I have an
older brother. His wife is my sister -in-law. They also have one son and one daughter.
Their son is my nephew and their daughter is my niece. Then there’s my mother and
father. At the top of my family tree, there’s my grandmother and grandfather.

I go to work at 8.45am every morning. I usually drive to work. I always check my emails when I
get to work, but I don’t always reply to them immediately. I take a taxi ora train if I have a lunch
meeting. I never take the bus because it is too slow. When I am at my desk I usually work on the
computer, even during morning tea. At 1pm most days I have lunch. At 3pm we have afternoon
tea, and that is when we usually talk and eat cake.
When you are in the office you probably have a lot of papers. It is important for you to file your
papers, and so that you can find them again you need to organise your files. When I work I have
to make telephone calls. If an important issue happens I ask my secretary toorganise a
meeting. Once a month I report to my boss, but maybe you have to report to your boss more often.
I usually write a document that my boss can read.

Hello everybody! My name is Stewie and this is my family.
My mother’s name is Louis. She is a housewife and she is 35 years old. She gets up at
7o’clock every morning and prepares breakfast. She cleans our house and feeds our dog. She cooks
well. She likes listening to the radio and watching soap operas on TV, but she doesn’t like washing our
dog. She usually meets her friends at home and she makes delicious cakes. She is the best mom and I
love her very much.
My father’s name is Peter.He is 35 years old and he is fat. He works at a factory. The factory
makes cars. My father likes watching football matches on TV but he can’t play football. He always
takes a shower at 7:30 and leaves home at 8:30. He gets on the bus and arrives at the factory at 9
o’clock. He really likes his job but he doesn’t earn much. He comes back home at 7 o’clock in the
evening and plays with me. I love him as well.
I have got a brother and a sister. Their names are Meg and Chris. Meg is 13 years old and she is a
collage student. She is very intelligent. She studies 5 hours a day. She can speak three languages,
English, Russian and Spanish. Chris is 15 years old and he is a highschool student. He isn’t very
intelligent. He fails all his Maths exams. He always meets his friends and rides his bicycle. He never
does his homework. He likes eating fast food but he doesn’t like vegetables.
Our dog’s name is Brian. It can speak well and walk on two legs. It gets up late. It likes
watching television and eating meatballs but it hates bathing. It never catches cats because ıt is afraid
of them.

Every morning I get up at 7 o’clock. I wash my face and brush my teeth. Then, I get dressed and have
my breakfast. I usually drink milk or fruit juice but I never drink tea. After breakfast I check my schoolbag
and say “Good Day” to my parents. I leave home at 8 o’clock and wait for the school bus for 10 minutes. I
get on the school bus at 8:10. I listen to music with my friends in the bus. I arrive at school at 8:30. The
school starts at 8:40. I listen to my teachers carefully and study alot. I have lunch at 12:10 in the cafeteria.
After school I go back home by bus and I get off the bus at 4 o’clock.I change my clothes and go out at

do my homework and watch cartoons. I usually read a book between 9:30 and 10 o’clock. I rarely write a
letter to my aunt in Manchester. I like drawing pictures and painting them. I always go to bed at 10:30. I
