ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Nyeri haid atau Dismenore selain merupakan masalah terbanyak juga menjadi alasan
terjadinya penurunan aktivitas wanita saat menstruasi, misalnya tidak masuk sekolah atau tidak bekerja.
Untuk menguragi dismenore terdapat dua tindakan yaitu secara farmakologis dan non farmakologis.
Prosedur secara farmakologis dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan obat analgesik sebagai penghenti rasa
sakit dan anti peradangan non- steroid (NSAID) sedangkan prosedur non farmakologi dapat dilakukan
salah satunya yakni dengan teknis kompres hangat. Tujuan kajian literatur ini adalah untuk mengetahui
efektivitas kompres hangat dalam mengurangi tingkat nyeri haid/disminore. Metode: metode yang
digunakan adalah studi literatur dari beberapa artikel yang telah dipilih sesuai topik.
Pencarian Literature dari berbagai sumber baik nasional maupun internasional dengan bantua search
engine diantaranya Sicendirect, Google Scholar. Pencarian artikel ini penulis menggunakan kata kunci
“nyeri disminore, kompres hangat”. Hasil: hasil dari beberapa telaah literatur didapatkan bahwa kompres
hangat efektif dalam menurunkan nyeri disminore.
Background: Menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea besides being the most common problem is also the reason
for a decrease in women's activity during menstruation, for example not going to school or not working.
To reduce dysmenorrhea there are two actions, namely pharmacological and non-pharmacological.
Pharmacological procedures can be carried out using analgesic drugs as painkillers and non-steroidal anti-
inflammatories (NSAIDs), while non-pharmacological procedures can be carried out, one of which is by
applying warm compresses. The purpose of this literature review was to determine the effectiveness of
warm compresses in reducing the level of menstrual pain/dismenorrhea. Method: the method used is a
literature study from several articles that have been selected according to the topic. Literature search from
various sources both nationally and internationally with the help of search engines including Sicendirect,
Google Scholar. The search for this article the author used the keywords "pain dysmenorrhea, warm
compresses". Results: the results of several literature reviews found that warm compresses are effective in
reducing dysmenorrhea pain.
